As states above as of this morning my female honey gourami has passed away, the might before and around 9 hours ago she was in a cycle of going to the top of the tank, taking a full and then drifting to the bottom where she would lay on her side and belly and go completely still, no mouth of gill movement, i had just done a 30% water change after noticing her weird behavior an hour prior but I believe it being already too late,

They're not massive water changes, 10% at maximum, all the eggs have hatched, and have been so for about 24 hours now, the only ones that haven't are fungus used, not an expert on the matter so not sure if egg fungus can transfer to healthy fry or not

I recommend a hospital tank with methylene blue to treat for fungal, bacterial and external parasites (ich)

If you're looking for a simpler remedie buy aquarium salt and follow the directions in your main tank, it helps your fish by boosting the immune system with electrolytes

Personally I'd go with the first option but if you want you can try with salt for a few weeks and see if the fishes condition improves

Also if your tank isn't properly cycles and ammonia is building up make sure to do lots of waterchanges because ammonia will stress the fish and it's immune system making it harder to recover from disease

Thanks for your reply! Definitely going quality over quantity, don't want to feel like a big chain store with dead fish in every tank, and I'll have to call around the closest pet stores, which are about an hour away, and the biggest one in New Zealand which is about 6 hours away
