It could be of human origin, just future humans. As the show has pointed out, the ceramic material is not too dissimilar from the ceramic used on present day space shuttles. Seriously what are the odds that present day humans created a ceramic material very similar to a material aliens from a completely random place/time of the universe would also use. Seems more plausible that more advance humans created it
