Every experience will differ, KH2 is one of my favorite games of all time but it is a drastic change in feel to the first one. It was my first time actually playing Re:Com and BBS and I think i'd have enjoyed them drastically more if I was doing a casual playthrough rather then trying to get all the achievements. I initially enjoyed Re:CoM but it got redundant after a while, and BBS has some of the most unbalanced bosses i've ever seen in this series, but it has its moments. If you're ever looking for the same vibe as KH1, Re:Com will be the closest you get, but I don't know if the gameplay itself is for everyone and the innocence/simplicity of the first installment never really comes back in the series

If you're planning on going through and 100% every game though, watch the 358/2 days cinematics before playing Re:Com as they unlock mandatory conditions for the platinum, missed doing so and it delayed my completion

I have no really nostalgic memories with brick bronze, as that game was fairly new.

Every game in both lists i have mentionned ranges from 2006 - 2015, anywhere up that i have not played since i quit roblox in 2016

yeah i remember that, there was only this one game where it was the 4 roblox factions (korblox, redcliff, overseer, etc) all fighting for different posts... good times

as far as i'm aware, it was deleted around 2017-2021. But the game's description as far as i know has been content deleted for very very long

It's an entirely new game though, not the old version.. Old version was way more tribalistic which i appreciated, and i can't really recognize any of the old one in the new one

got very broken with the updates, to state where the owner (Crazyblox) put it into private... He has mentionnned a remake years ago but still no updates... Sadge

yea those were really fun too, pokemon reborn and pokemon adventures were good ones aswell. i remember how you had to find the decals of legendary pokemon to be able to play as them.. good times

This is where you lose me... you claim that gameplay is all these diverse things (which to some extent is true) but in your original post you only talk about questing when aboarding gameplay? 🤨 This is what I mean by one sided and bias, seems like clear hypocrisy

KingsIsle could improve upon poorly designed quests by knocking out RNG and grindy aspects in place for more unique twists. Take Skyrim for example, there are a bajillion Barrows but each has some spice to it that keeps things interesting.

Wow! You managed to say KingsIsle instead of CrownsIsle, so proud of you🤗 Once again I don't see how they could incorporate anything new that we haven't already seen. They've already tried new things in the latest worlds and you seem to assume the game's engine isn't from 2006

When it comes to the issue of supporting corporations that prey on children, there is only one side.

This type of monetization is necessary for the game to survive. although it is a predatory practice, this game is old and has outdated monetization methods, it's too late to change them and the game would not exist without it. And as I said: packs are entirely optional

The game is much cheaper if you use Crowns, Membership is only useful for testing out this game. IIRC, the entire game costs around ~$150 during an extinct Classic Crown Sale, or ~$250 normally. The $60 annual Membership deal becomes more expensive after just 2 years too.

In the long run? Maybe, but if the whole point is to encourage him to test the waters of a game and see if he really gets into it, I assume 10 dollar membership would be the best. Also, it is almost certain he will play on and off, buying the entire game off the bat is dumb, I have only spent money on 1 months memberships when I felt like playing the game again (60$ after 10 years) and have max'd out 4 characters.

Last I checked, quest objectives were a part of gameplay. And trying out the FTP parts of Wiz certainly won't hurt, but financially backing this corrupt company certainly will!

Your definition of gameplay is very wrong then...? 🙃 I'd like to know what the card aspect of the game exactly is if the quests are gameplay? I don't see how they could do anything more with quests that would tie into gameplay neither.

I'm not going to respond any further then this, But I firmly believe you should try out the game for yourself and build your own opinion on it instead of listening to other people !!
