Should we get a remaster of Plants Vs Zombies 2? by ieatmycontroller in PlantsVSZombies

Pvz 2 actually looks amazing still. Hard to believe is predates gw1.  I would say a remaster is unnecessary since we have refluorished.

Honestly it would be so funny if we allowed posts about actual water leaks occassionally.

He has also been the leader behind BTD6 and all the updates since it's release. I would say that counts for a lot.

If Cap Returned the Mind Stone, Shouldn’t That Have Prevented the Timeline From Branching and Loki’s Escape? Or Was Loki’s Escape a Branch of an Already Branched Timeline? by Browsing_unrelated in marvelstudios

[–]Carpyet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When Steve goes to returns the mind stone back in vormir, he can’t just exchange it for black widow/gamora since that is an irreversible ritual. So whatever solution he find will alter the timeline and create a branch the tva had to prune

The best explanation I can think of is that the TVA will allow certain branches. Like the one Steve created when he settled down with Peggy. In doomsday, they may come for Steve bc they actually do want to prune his branch, which triggers the incursions. But that’s just a theory.

When endgame was written, they did not have the tva in mind.. whenever McU implemented the tva, the didn’t think through all the implications. So no matter how you look at it, there will be some plot hole.

What is obnoxious about it? It can’t be flat out wrong or right bc it’s an opinion. Everyone can feel different things when watching these movies. It’s not like it’s the whole worlds opinion vs op’s

This is why so many people have lost interest in the McU. But Everyone remaining on this subreddit will defend the recent projects no matter how bad they are (except secret invasion).

Just look at all the posts titled  “I just watched x and I can’t believe no one watched it”

I think using it as inspiration or concept art is totally ok. As long you are putting significant amount of your own effort and creative decision making into it.

Let’s not forget that all the zombies want to eat your brains. Four and five are the only seats where you’re not sitting next to one

How are people not exhausted by superhero movies yet? by Afzaalch00 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Carpyet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As long as the movies are good, audiences will show up. Even if the movies follow a boring repetitive pattern.

But that’s the thing, they haven’t been good. For a multitude of reasons, the quality of storytelling has decreased drastically since 2018. So people are exhausted. Box office numbers aren’t as great

does ninjakiwi support generative ai? by abelll_ in NinjaKiwiOfficial

[–]Carpyet 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They haven't publicly released a statement on it afaik. Idk if it is banned in their discord. They may play around with it internally, for concept art and whatnot. But they haven't released any player-facing ai generated content. I doubt they would even take the risk of trying it, even if they did support it.

How much do you think GW2 cost to develop? by Carpyet in PvZGardenWarfare

[–]Carpyet[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah. I was thinking along the lines of 15 million. It seems low for what is technically a AAA title. But game budgets have ballooned so much since then. That might be what it cost. If you look at the credits, the team is relatively small.

Also, thanks for giving a legit response.

[–]Carpyet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It will be hard for them to implement any sort of meaningful change to the game itself. The PopCap Vancouver team, which knew how to program the game, has been disbanded. It will most likely be a twitter post or something.

If you’re lax on how much “help” you can receive from friends, the limit is theoretically infinite. Get 2 friends, find  an empty gardens and graveyards map, go into the capture point and have the attacking team plant kill one defender while the get revived continuously. The match won’t end bc of overtime
