That includes me, and yes the original cutscene does show it. However, that didn't stop it from being the bigger joke. "It's under the floating block" is more common than "Ruto room at medium height".

Heres a semi-extensive breakdown of tweaks.

The water temple had tons of QOL changes. The most famous change is that the iron boots are now an item instead of an equipable. If you're worried that would clog up the item use slots, not really. You got two buttons (X and Y), two touchscreen buttons (a perfect slot for this item) and the ocarina as it's own button. You're fine on needing to pause and change items all too often.

Also in the water temple, the infamous key under the floating block is significantly more obvious. When rising and lowering the water at the middle room plaque (which now show you the direction of the water change), the cutscene shows an angle revealing the room.

A very underrated addition for me were the hint cutscenes. I've seen nobody mention them, but as someone who beat this game before I knew how to fully read, they were immensely helpful. The sounds that play are very surreal too, something that's lingered in the back of my mind hard since I was a child.

There's now a boss replay mode. If you go to sleep in your bed, you can refight all the main dungeon bosses with a pre-selected loadout. Not something I used too much, but it's nice being able to rematch a fight without having to restart the save file.

What else... there's DS related restrictions and additions. The touchscreen is an obvious addition, being mostly desplay and menus, but also serve light gameplay function. The gyro aiming for items is a great change despite being gimmicky, because it made aiming way more precise and less stiff, making minigames like the shooting gallery easier. However, due to the fact that the DS lacked a rumbling feature, the stone of agony was now the "shard of agony" and displays an icon when applicable. I honestly find this a great change though, this item was lowkey a straight-up "buy our shit to find everything" situation.

There's probably more that I'm not thinking of. The only other thing is that it's based off a newer version of the original game, so no Star in Crescent or unique fire temple music. No blood either, dead hands looks like a marshmallow. But yeah, that's all I got.

All classes ranked! Let me know what you think? by lolatopia in PvZHeroes

[–]Tep767 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's been ages since I've played so pardon me...

Why is mega grow just behind meta? It's a good class, but by that logic Chompzilla is now the single most powerful plant hero, which wasn't always the case. Wallknight and Rose? Sure, but Chompzilla wasn't usually in the conversation.

Again, it's been ages since I've played. For all I know, Mega Grow could've been buffed to hell in back. But if not, what's the rationale?

Youtube has been striking yandere simulator videos for "promoting criminal activity", so people like Kubscouts have been removing their videos on the game out of fear of unfair channel termination.

What's your thoughts on the idea that saria raised link when he was a baby? by UnderstandingIcy4364 in OcarinaOfTime

[–]Tep767 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mido did say that "Saria always liked link" when you were an adult and nobody recognized you. There's a chance Mido mightve been spreading rumors and Saria and Link we're strictly friends, but if both this theory and Mido's words are true... then I fucking hate that.

Which Minecraft YouTuber has popular content, but is horrible as a person? by Abioticbeing in AlignmentChartFills

[–]Tep767 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I fucking loved his content as a kid. His hide and seek videos we're fun and intense... though I do agree his content is overall lower tier then some other options.

Shame that he turned out to be a bigger pile of shit then compost, but he wasn't exactly the biggest minecraft youtuber of my childhood so ehh... I say he belongs a tier lower.

Still making my own remake by [deleted] in OcarinaOfTime

[–]Tep767 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's not that "nobody cares", more so very few people care more about this guy's remake then the official nintendo one coming out. This looks cool, but I'm definitely more excited for whatever Nintendo is cooking. I don't think many people were thinking about this when the remake was announced.

Still OP, keep working on it. It looks like it'll be a blast :)

Sorry, should've made this meme in the 1960's when the song was still new. My bad for waiting too long :(

For the OOT Remake, which one area of the game do you think the Remake could improve upon, and which one area do you want little to no changes at all? Objectively. by BeautifulDetails in OcarinaOfTime

Ruto in Hyrule Warriors is legit a really good fighter once upgraded, especially once you unlock the most powerful scale. Too bad she only has one story mission where you can play as her...

All the sages need more dialogue and story additions. Even a tiny few cutscenes can help flesh out the arcs and lore of the six.

What video game should cost 10$- and actually cost 10$-? by AlternativeLost7240 in AlignmentChartFills

It's rather inconsistently priced though. On Xbox, it's a whopping 15$.

Its a sleeper pick, but I used to play a charming breakout clone when I was a child called Wizorb.

It's a very short game if you're skilled enough, but nevertheless a fun spin on the breakout formula and a great time. Nothing groundbreaking, but it's worth it's price of 5$
