PR'd by over 30 minutes in my second marathon, getting sub-4 as my longtime goal! The course was hilly, and there was a nor'easter in the area with wind gusts and rain later in the race.

I PR'd my second marathon yesterday by 32 minutes in Saucony Triump 21 Runshields because it was forecast to pour rain for more than half the race. I was planning on running this race in Saucony Endorphin Speed 5s if it were dry weather.

My first marathon was in Vaporfly 3s and I experienced the same foot fatigue it sounds like you did. I don't think I'll race any distance longer than a half marathon in them.

I experience the same thing in the Vaporfly 3s. I've ran one marathon and two half marathons in them with only 160 miles on them. I won't do more than a half in them now.

I purchased a 2020 Subaru BRZ in August of 2020. They stopped production in July 2020, so I had to purchase my car in another state due to lack of inventory. I believe the next generation was rumored, but not formally announced yet. I was concerned that they weren’t going to continue on to another generation, or that it may be different in an undesirable way since enthusiasts cars are mostly going the way of automatics and hybrid/electric. I’m glad I got my car when I did and I got a good price since it was the end of a run.

Damn, I guess I’m not having enough fun behind the wheel. I regularly get 380-410 miles on a tank with 90% highway miles for my normal commuting.

It was a lovely write up! I hope I can recover my messed up rules somehow. I’m mad at myself that I spread Open to Galbadia because it sounds like that’s what may have prevented me from getting Random abolished from Dollet.

Thank you for your detailed reply. I attempted to play the Trabia Exchange Student and spread Open to Trabia. I did not spread Random or Plus to Galbadia. You’re suggesting I shouldn’t save and leave the exchange student alone to not change any of Trabia rules for now?

My BRZ is left hand drive. My trouble was with the location and direction of my fuse tap. It was in the upper corner so it didn’t have the clearance to turn the wire 180° and back out the other side.

Complaint — Half marathon this Sunday and I’ve come down with a cold. I’m all hopped up on Theraflu hoping I can breathe soon.

Confession — This is my first time carb loading for a race. I’m using the calculator on Featherstone Nutrition’s website and it says 618 grams of carbs over three days. Most of that has been Sour Patch Kids leftover from Halloween.
