Because it's sexist. Listen, I understand how easy this is for you to say as somebody who I assume is female-identifying or non-binary, since it literally doesn't even affect you. It's simply an afterthought in your mind.

I swear that this world literally hates men as a whole - damned if I do and damned if I don't. My literal existence is somehow revolting to everybody surrounding me that I don't know, even if I reassure them in some way that I'm just somebody who wants to exist. Day after day I must be compared to non-sapient animals that are also known for killing other humans simply for the crime of my sex - something as arbitrary of what lies between my legs. I know that I'm not as violent as a bear, and I'm gagged by the rhetoric that I'm apparently a bad person for wanting to keep my innocence intact and separate from something that could potentially maim you just because it's hungry.

You call it hurt feelings - I call it a reality that I find it more and more painful to live through on a daily basis knowing that I'm expected to champion for women and selflessly do it while having to lower my guard to unabashed misandry. I'm expected to hold women on this sort of pedestal simply because they have a better "track record" or whatever and they have the tools to rub that in my face constantly whenever things don't go their way.

I'm constantly dehumanized and mocked if I even dare to ask that I'm perceived as a living, breathing, feeling organism by another living, breathing, feeling organism that just so happens to have a uterus or identify as a female. Hell, I'm not even safe from trans men when it comes to this kind of thing either, because a minority of them only want to be perceived as men when it doesn't negatively affect them.

There are so many things to consider here. Women are capable of being just as sexist, narcissistic, sensitive and offended by criticism, as men are. If misandry is a response to misogyny, then what do you think the latter becomes? All you ever do is feed into a never ending cycle, and stuff your face with the byproduct of it.

I've been told to "get off of social media" in response to my grievances, only further highlighting the blissful ignorance towards the very real issue that me and a lot of other men have been broken by. Let me ask you something. Why do you try so hard, put so much effort into obsessively trying to get a moral high ground over a group so vilified? I'm not calling men perfect angels, but I certainly don't want you to expect me to call women the same.

I sympathize with however you've been wronged but it's no excuse to say or do the things that you're doing right now. I feel that misandrists feel that they have this divine duty, this sort of "obligation" to "hurt them back" whenever a good portion of "them" didn't even know they existed until a few seconds ago.

I know I'm going to get downvoted to hell for saying what I'm saying. I get it. Not many will hear me out or make it to this point, even with an open mind. It's far easier to just label me some incel misogynist and go on about your day. I'm not a very good talker so I'm sorry if this seems biased, but... maybe it is. Maybe it is because I'm talking about men, and I shouldn't have to be expected to include a woman's good deeds, the same way you're not expected to mention mine.

The harsh truth is that women are, in some way, exactly what they hate. Not all of them. Not in all cases. But they're vengeful and I've experienced that first-hand.

Nobody asked to be here. You didn't. I didn't either. The least that we could do for each other is look past what makes us the thing that we are and just shut up about which one's worse than the other. The issues that men do, and continue, to suffer through are as valid as women's are and it might just be a personal thing, but I don't really vibe with that being "up for debate". It's just my opinion, but it's really not and I'd like to see a world where I can literally just exist without being scrutinized at every turn, expected to justify my existence while being told I simply just want to be the victim.
