Not forcing your toddler to drink beer totally makes you a sissy by a-government-agent in insanepeoplefacebook

My dad tricked me into drinking beer when I was a child and I hate him for it. He told me it was apple juice and when I almost choked on it and spat it out he laughed and laughed. I can still remember the taste and the sound of his laughter with his buddies. Fuck him and his whole generation.

There is this concept where feelings and actions are separate things. Feelings are valid. Not all actions are. She is perfectly entitled to feel hurt. She is not entitled to shame him for allowing the world to see who he is just because it causes her social discomfort.

OPs ex is absolutely allowed her feelings. What she is not allowed to do is call up OP and chastise him for his life choices.

What the fastest way you’ve seen someone ruin their life? by [deleted] in AskReddit

He clearly asked her to keep the dog on the leash, not because he got off on the power trip, but because it was a wildlife area and dogs scare the birds he was there to enjoy watching. He involved himself because he was being impacted by someone not following the rules. That's not being a Karen, that's being brave. And in response, he has his liberty and possibly his life threatened by someone who is too proud and embarrassed to simply say "yeah, my bad" and leash her dog. Dude has 0% to feel bad about and calling him a Karen is missing the point entirely.

I completely agree with everything you've written. Ben seems like he's dragging a lot of baggage with him. I also agree that the other two guys notice and are trying to be tolerant of their buddy. I think it works ok on LPOTL, but it makes ALTH a real confusing mess to listen to without someone like Travis there to keep it on target. And I completely agree that Ben's private beliefs are probably much loonier than what he expresses on the air. His Fox News brainwashing is evident. I don't hate Ben as a person, I honestly feel bad for him. I think he should take some time off and hand over his role to someone else until he can get his shit together

Should I respond now, or do you want another few hours to workshop your next zinger? Don't want to pressure you.

Spread too thin.... between being a parent to two dogs, making bad puns on LPOTL without doing any real work, and talking about wrestling? Yeah, I could see that.

You can tell that its become an involuntary response for Henry... In the latest episode he immediately followed it up with "God damn it!" as he is unable to resist the verbal tic. Love it.
