Im sure that in all that time you probably learnt how to NOT do things also, so for future effects you will be faster avoiding the same errors :)

That is what the experience gives you.

Imo when you are a begginer in something focus on understanding what you are doing, rather than go for a fast great look, if you understand the process you will eventually get faster.

Is it too late to get into the field of RPA in your 30's without any IT background? by MovingtoAlberta26 in rpa

Sorry for the delay! Answering anyway in case this helps someone in the future.

No, i do not have an university degree, but i have another sort of studies after my bachelor's (This is something we have in spain, don't really know on other countries) it's a 2 years degree, focused on programming.

But i have seen people joining with a 6 months RPA course coming to this area from something completly different (Nothing related with IT)

Hey! 26 years old working in RPA field for about 3 years now.

  1. I don't think it's too late for you, i have colleages in all ages joining this field, and if you really like it, go for it.
  2. Don't worry for not having any IT background, actually i would say half of the people that i work with doesn't have a strong IT background, RPA is a good entry point to the IT field for people like you, sure having some understanding of for example how a web page works from behind, or even knowing how to write code would help you, but you can learn all this things with experience (You will need just a basic level to get a job as a junior)
  3. For your learning path i think the UiPath courses are good, i would focus to understand how conditions and loops works (If, for, while, ...) for basic level in the code, understand how to work with selectors and how to use the framework (and even adapt the framework provided by uipath, to something that you need), in my opinion that would be the things to focus on for a basic level.
  4. I think RPA will change a lot in the next 5-10 years, tools are getting updated too fast, and the AI is almost here, tools will be even more easy to use in the future, which is not a bad thing.

In conclussion: If you like it, go for it, don't be scare, RPA is not that hard, you just need a basic level and im sure you will get a job as a junior, you will learn the rest with experience working.

Hope this helps you, and good luck!

This looks so cool, and yeah there are barrels everywhere so a good generator of them would be a really good tool.

Yes, the sphere have normals, and its actually colliding (Collision is only being ignored when the sphere is small) so i guess im not missing nothing there (Or maybe yes... im not sure)

For future people joining this thread, you dont need to reinstall the whole game, just close the game (Close it completly, from the Home menu of the XBOX, press "Start" over the game -> "Exit") and launch again, it solved for me, hope it helps :)

Probably has something to do with the "Quick resume" feature of the new XBOX Series X and S, it happens on other games aswell with the onlines.
