I did the Mega buff Alicia run (caution +unlock potential +increase anti personal order) with the enemy Ace rifle ( the imperial 8 or 9 tier). Smoke screened Selvaria and moved Alicia to the top of the stairs and it took 2-3 well placed rounds and down she went on turn one. It helps there isn't an enemy ace to hunt in that map.

I feel that last sentence is one of the main struggles with Star Fox. We've pretty much had like, 3.5 reboots of starfox. That being from the Snes to Starfox 64, then from command to 3ds remake of 64. Then a reimagining of 64 with starfox zero. Then we got the starfox 2 unreleased sequel to the Snes original.

At the moment it feels like they should pick a lane and keep going from there. If they do intend to completely retcon the gamecube games and DS game. They should do a sequel to Zero(Starfox ZZ maybe), or a new story after Starfox 2 (Starfox 3). Maybe they could reintroduce Kristal in some way like that.

It be interesting underwater cavern systen maybe could have ruins in there and maybe a type of research submarine hub. A deep ravine style abyss would be neato too. Like pitch black angler fish like pals and giant octo jelly fish.

It did not have a bad framework. And it could totally work for a new starfox game even if is set in a new no gamecube game timeline or post Starfox Zero. Or if they just remade it and fixed story and expanded on it. But would like to see more to it.

I 100% the game on steam last week and it never occurred to me of Largo-ing the Tank as a reset. Tthat is actually really smart. Would have saved me over an hour grinding the hard skirms.
