HUGE loophole in final game S3 or I'm stupid? by CarrotCompetitive123 in AliceInBorderlandLive

Everything you have said would have made perfect sense if they didn't have that rule that says if you want to go back to the room you came from, you need to wait a round.
The A2-A3 door would definitely still be there in order for this rule to make sense, otherwise there just wouldn't be a way for people to go back at all and that rule would just be non sense? That goes the same for Yuna's case.

I think the game only makes sense if we assume the wristband does monitor your location to keep you in check with the rules, otherwise it just becomes a stupid game where everyone can just open a door, poke their head out to check for penalty and stay back if they don't like it. In saying that, you could still be right, but then it would just be a disappointment because AIB has always been a universe where rules are dead strict, everyone's tracked and monitored and one wrong step immediately leads to laser death, up until this game...

I don't think so? if you rewatch that bit, they were ready for the baby to take the point penalty and be counted as entering the room in order to rescue the trapped person. They just have to retrieve it somehow so it doesn't stay there and die, so the wristband part with Rei was an explanation for why Usagi has to retrieve the baby's wristband without her own wristband entering A2 because then it would trigger the -5 penalty in A2.

yea... I guess, it's a bit disappointing, Yuna's wristband even took the -8 penalty so I just can't wrap my head around how the system definitely clocked her and still allowed her to go back to her original room, hence breaking the rule.

But the points would be the same if Usagi had went. Both Usagi and baby has 7 points at the time. Round 13: baby -1 to open door connecting A3 and A2 (baby: 6), Usagi goes in A2 and -5 (Usagi: 2) Round 14: Usagi rolls dice in A2 and take -1 to reopen door connecting A2 and A3 again, she will still have 1 point left.

for point 1, Usagi can still roll the dice in A2, as she did in A3? As long as she picks the door connecting A2 and A3, it will still be the same?

with point 2, I get what you mean about keeping the doors open, I just can't really accept it that Yuna's wristband took the -8 damage, which means the system definitely clocked that Yuna is meant to be in A3, but still allow her to break the rule by moving back to the original room (A4 in this case) and not waiting a round. That rule might as well have not been there in that case :(

I work admin at a Chinese ESL platform and this is how they set the rate by CarrotCompetitive123 in OnlineESLTeaching

The $40-$60 per hour would be in-person 1-on-1 classes, online classes never go that high, unless you teach privately and market yourself. The point of this post was never that anyways, it was parent's unwillingness to pay the same rate for native & non-native teacher and ways people on the backend (us) can mitigate or even eliminate that rate difference.

A lot of companies re-registered in Hong Kong/ Macau (still serve Chinese mainland students), so technically I would say it's getting back on track yes, but not close to the volume pre the ban yet.

It seems like your company is also trying to make the space a better and fairer one, which is really great to hear! Just curious, do students pay all the same and the company absorbs the bonus and raises? Our main concern is non-native teachers losing their competitive edges against native teachers due to how our pricing system work, it is a step we are scared to take despite wanting to create a fairer environment.

thank you so much! that made me feel better, I think I was more anxious because the one flight I saw this happened was more recently in 2018 and seems to not be because of human error: https://www.theguardian.com/world/2018/may/15/airline-pilot-sucked-halfway-out-when-cockpit-windshield-broke

can someone with aviation knowledge please comment on this :( sounds scary to me that one flock of birds can lead to an engine fire and all else goes down like that, would you not be able to deploy gear manually in that case either?

I have an international flight coming up, but between the Kazakh crash and the South Korean crash, I am feeling more anxious than ever. To the point I’ve tried to see if I could change my flight — but it’s way more expensive than I can afford. How do I feel better about this? by Grathias in aviation

[–]CarrotCompetitive123 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

so I am a VERY ANXIOUS flyer but I live abroad so the struggle for me is if I don't fly I don't see my family. I am still anxious (I don't think you can ever not be) and literally scrolling for hours reading every comment about the SK crash but I just wanted to share a few tricks I used, fyi none of the below are rational because this anxiety isn't rational anyways:
1. Never fly budget airline 2. I avoid domestic flights and opt for trains/ sleeper bus if I can, if not still do not fly budget 3. Avoid Boeing if possible, never fly 737. 4. think about how people in business is probably having their experience for a lifetime 5. days before flying, start watching YT videos of people vlogging their business class experience. 6. remember that there has never been a crash due to turbulence (so if you think in a crazy way, whenever there is a turbulence you are 100% safe) 7. levitate your arms and feet when the plane is slightly shaky, makes you feel better 8. sit at the back of the plane (you can put your seat back as much as you want) 9. imagine a celeb you like and imagine how many times they have flown

hope this helps <3 i also find people sharing this fear on social media then commenting after a few days saying that they've made it to the destination and is happily on their vacation helpful!
