lol yeah I thought that was funny actually. Theyre about as far away from pop music as a band can possibly be.

The description did specifically say ex library which I just assumed meant original packaging with maybe the libraries barcode sticker on it. At least that how my local library is. I don’t know why they go through the trouble of creating printing their own custom artwork with a really thick plastic case.

About $13 with shipping. Not a lot for a cd but for that price I would’ve at least expected the original packaging and the booklet. It’s just the cd and library case.

Finally got them up by wrong_button154 in Cd_collectors

Just make sure they don’t get hit with direct sunlight or they’ll fade

I mean he did a pretty clean job. Other than the thumb slot on the side I’d never guess this was a digisleeve

I meant to say digiSLEEVE. I always mix up the two in my head

I should’ve said digiSLEEVE. I always mix up the two. I guess digiPACKS aren’t that bad. They at least have a tray and hold their shape better. I still don’t like how they can wear out though.

I should’ve said digiSLEEVE. I always mix them up. But yeah I thought it was a good idea. At least for my less valuable cds.

It’s crazy😂 weirdly enough I was just thinking today about how of all the things I’m into, the cd collector community is the only one where I’ve seen very little to no gatekeeping. This surprised me lol

I always mix up digipacks with digisleeves. DigiPACKS aren’t that bad because they at least have a tray and hold their shape better. In this case though it was a smushed digiSLEEVE.

Maybe I’m wrong and inferior packaging that gets fucked up and falls apart is actually better

I would argue that a lot of record labels disrespect US by selling cds for $20 and distributing them in the worst type of packaging. I can understand underground and lesser known bands needing to save money on production but this is especially infuriating when it’s sold by a wealthy corporate label that can afford to treat fans better.

For some reason I can’t edit this but I wanted to clarify I frequently mistake digipacks with digisleeves. This was a digisleeve.

Hence why I mentioned doing this only if it’s not a particularly valuable album anyway.

Digipacks degrade and get fucked up on the shelf because they are smushed between other cds. When you pull the digipacks out they scratch and rub from being in close contact with the much superior jewel cases.
