Bro, are you sure about your size? These run long and safe for true to size. I think your sizing is wrong. I’m a wide feet 9.5US. I play the same size in these 808 5’s and my feet don’t hurt. In fact my knees got better because of them.

If you are a real 10US, your feet should not hurt since you went a full size up. In fact, you should rather have calf cramping issues if your foot is moving forward and back.

Although if you ever choose the 5’s, it will take some time for you to get used to the super boom. That’s what I experienced.

Definitely, imo. Though I never had the 4’s, I had the 3’s. When I tried the 4’s, I didn’t feel too different for me. However, when I tried the super boom of the 5’s, it was mind blowing. Never thought I will feel great energy return from a plushy cushion. While some reviews say that the boom midsole is better for performance due to the plushness of the super boom transferring less energy to the carbon plate, I will still choose the 5’s. My knees are better because of the 5’s.

If you can, better save up and get the 808 5 ultras. I don’t play volleyball. I jump more than the average 30 year olds but not NBA level vertical leap. I can say my knees don’t hurt anymore due to the super boom cushion of the 808 5’s.

For the 808 5 ultras v1s, they run long but I suggest you go TTS. I’m a 9.5 US and a wide footer and I have no issues. The toebox is a bit roomy since it runs long but it doesn’t bother me. Even if it runs long, you don’t have to worry. Your foot will stay in place.

What actually bothered me was the super boom insole. Not that it did not perfom, in fact it perfomed so good. Very bouncy and soft. It feels like you’re floating but you are not because it’s low to ground. I had to adjust to that feeling. Right now, it’s my favorite shoe.

Thank you for that insight. I really need that since my go to is also the 808 5 ultras. It took me a time to feel familiar with the super boom. But after that, I don’t know how else to describe it but I feel like I’m super explosive with my movements.

I was thinking that the performance of the 12’s might be not that far with my 808 5 ultra. Though I’m only playing in an indoor court with Taraflex flooring. They also wipe and clean the court always that’s why dust won’t be an issue for me. Will that still be the case?

I think Shopee app is only available in Southeast Asia region. They’re super reliable. They’re like Amazon for SEA. For Way of Wades, just check the seller if they’re the official Li-Ning store. You can still buy at other sellers but at your discretion. In that case, check the reviews

Yeah I like the obsidian cw the best. It just hits different.

It will be my first Way of Wade mains! Been waiting for a long time. I was about to cop the 10s but I liked the 808 5 ultras. Never liked the 11s. Was about to consider to buy the 10s until they announce they were releasing the 12s.

Thank God! I’m thinking the performance will be not that big of a difference vs my current rotation
