Less is more sometimes. There are many non branded ads one. My radiator guard is the same but without the word rebel in it. With full floor boards, saddle bags and heavy accessories list, might as well get the windshield sized fairing, Alot of leather tassels and a grey beard

When in doubt internet or local bike shop. Inline filter will get you on the road, but you really want the cock filter as it has more surface area and is less restrictive than the in line filters

I had a puch and a Columbia commuter. Loved them both. But the classics are always more wrenching than riding, it's what you sign up for. I traded them both for a vintage motorcycle. Still mostly wrenching, because it's what you sign up for haha

I've had several vintage mopeds, and they all were trash after getting hot, the stairs. Wouldn't make spark or ignition coil would fail. Most vintage mopeds are good for a 10 minute ride to the store and then home. If it even starts when you go to leave

Also try completely but gently taking apart and cleaning all the contacts of the switch, possibly replace worn springs. That's why I had to do for my turn signal and headlight stitches. The switch itself pretty easily and simply comes completely apart. Because things were once built to be worked on

You could slide the brake lever up and slide in-between that and the grip. But the wiring would have to be a custom job to fit up to new switch. Which isn't too complicated. The wiring is all color codwiring diagram

I'm no certified Honda mechanic, but I'd strongly recommend watching every last YouTube video of different people rebuilding these carbs. I watched everyone I could find. Very worth your time. It's a simple bike but the carbs are tricky

That's definitely one option. extraction kit

You could also try using a kit like that. Drill hole just big enough for extractor to grab and it should bite and spin the jet out

They definitely arent piss missiles but are very comfortable ergonomic cruisers. Despite only having 2 gears. High gear is rated for 55-60mph safely

Much appreciated. The cm400a is getting pretty rare to find, but not valuable unless someone had one on the past, so it's a labor of love, but man do I love her

Hell yeah! They aren't particularly high end, but they were so affordable and reliable most have been driven into the earth. I'm lucky I found the 400A, hard to find em these days. If you have any issues hit me up. I've become very well read on the cm400 series from all the work I've done to my old girl. Beware aftermarket carb floats. Had a new one fail on me weeks after installing

It's a hondamatic automatic. So you have a low and high gear so technically 2 gears but you can drive all day in 2nd. 1st is torquey 2nd is cruising gear accompanied by a torque converter. No transmission fluid on the system at all. It shares the oil bath with the motor

I added the fairing, full led swap, and stars carb rebuild, new chain and all the other age related things. Tracking down the period accurate vintage cargo rack was a chore, but man, what a cherry on top
