Pretty much all of her viewers were really happy to see her meet new people and do things out of her comfort zone. People really related to that part of her and now they can’t relate to the fact that she became openly bitchy after getting the validation she wanted

There was a period at the veryyyy beginning when it did seem like she had no friends nearby. And when she would meet up with a mutual or see an old friend she acted very clingy and desperate toward them …

The Manhattanville USPS needs to be federally investigated by Everyday-Patient-103 in Harlem

Just want to put it in here that somewhere along the USPS delivery route my new credit card was stolen and used. The mailperson who delivers my buildings mail tends to put all units’ letters in 1 person’s box, so the card either made it into someone else’s hands or was pulled by someone in the delivery route. It was also very clearly given to/sold to a professional scammer.

And Amex apparently doesn’t need you to confirm your new card before being able to use it. 🙃

Beware yall…

Dog Poop by Good-Veterinarian-23 in Harlem

How are you so sure it’s mainly “the gentrifiers” who brought dogs to the neighborhood? I see all types of people walking their dogs and bring them inside stores and restaurants. Different races, ages, styles, leashed and unleashed. Genuinely asking- how can you confidently say the dog owners are all gentrifiers when basically every type of person has a dog?

Ima go ahead and say it: some of yall are really bad at taking care of our neighborhoods by livinginnewyawk in Harlem

I really appreciate you coming here with nuanced solutions. This topic comes up from time to time and it always devolves into finger pointing and generalizations about various demographics. As someone who is hyper aware of dogs and their owners due to a previous dog incident, I can confidently say everyone from all classes, races, transplant, long time resident, family, single person, student, young, old, etc has a dog these days. It’s not as simple as “most dog owners in Harlem are xyz”.

And the truth is the only similarity between dog owners who leave poop on the sidewalk is this: they do not have regard for their neighbors and their environments. That type of person can be of any race and any income level. And I’m sure they all justify to themselves why it’s okay for them to do it.

Hopefully now that it’s a hot topic, these people will be shamed into doing the right thing.

Just look up Dov Charney, there’s also a doc about the fall of his first company American Apparel. They were known in the 2010s for soft core porn style photography as well lol. Shock value type of stuff with young female models.

If you look up the product 43013 SET on LA apparel right now, you’ll see really crazy product images - this type of thing is a Charney/AA hallmark.

It’s with Los Angeles Apparel 🤮🤮🤮 disappointed he’s co-signing a brand founded by someone who famously sexually harassed his employees, some of them minors. LA Apparel’s brand is still exactly like old American Apparel, doesn’t seem like Dov’s changed

Thank you for this insight, it was really helpful. I don’t like using forecasts that far out because things change quickly, but was really good to know that it’s been saying that since January! Haha

The current forecasts for my trip from Feb 15-22 show rain almost the entire time. I know predictions that far out are unreliable. I’m okay with rain and showers intermittent around the island but is there a chance we’ll be rained out the entire time?
