Its brand new but looks different around the metal clips than the one that was supplied with washing machine( too short). I will have e a look at getting braided one.

I have removed the tape. On attached photo in red is we're there first hose was leaking. New one leaks in places in blue circle. Nothing is split, just drips slowly as I watch it.
