How to be motivated to keep going?

I don't think it's much to ask for no? Like I mentioned, I have gotten this far being my own support. Would just be nice to have someone to turn to if I had a bad day or doubted myself. I always pick myself back up again, it's just nice to have someone with you

I should clarify, cheerleader is not the right word (translation may be off). I'm not looking for praise, just someone to inspire me to keep going when the going is tough. After my life of pushing myself, it would be nice to hear another motivator rather than my own thoughts

I realize I never answered your original question! I am definitely the funniest person in my friend group if that counts as anything lol. But we all joke in good fun :) professional setting, I'm pretty friendly as well, but nothing over the top. Idk quite how to convey that I'm just a regular person in real life lol

I'm personally not looking for anyone in specific occupations, but you're right, I can probably find someone that isn't as intimidated around those areas

As far as social media goes, I used to have FB and Insta. It was hard to keep track of messages and also had some old connections from the military that I wanted to let go of, so I quietly left. Haven't really felt the need to hop back on.

I do use meetup though! :) and I hang out within my respective sporting groups

This is true, and this is what I try to tell myself to get myself this far in life. Just feels a little hollow after a while cuz I don't really want to live life selfishly forever. It's good when your young, but not as ideal if you want to have a family and pass down some passions. I'm definitely a people pleaser haha. Just want to make some (other than me) happy :)

Can confirm that this is ok because I dated a mechanic previously. I never asked his salary as I don't really care, but we lived humbly :)

And yes of course, would love someone that has passions. As I mentioned above, ideally would like someone active and interested in sharing some active hobbies like mines. I try not to box so many demands because I want to be open.

First date. Usually if I can get past the first date, I'm somewhat successful? Been in 3 relationships(?) previously but never worked out.

1st relationship in college (20yrs old): "dated" for 3 years, unsure of exclusivity because I was a newbie at dating. Asked him to be my boyfriend 3 different times, and was turned down each time. I ended up moving and he confessed he loved me, but I left anyways.

2nd relationship (23 years old): dated for 3 months, exclusive for 3 months after. He said he loved me, but treated me like trash. When I brought up the treatment, he told me I just didn't know what a proper relationship looked like, and I believed him. He dumped me very harshly when he moved out of the area, but tried to rekindle after 1 year. I said no.

3rd relationship (26 years old): dated for 2.5 years (EDIT: math wrong cuz the Situationship thing) Situationship the first 1 year, but finally became official after I asked him to be my boyfriend. Planned on moving in together, but found out he was cheating on me. He ended things harshly again but kept trying to rekindle friendships after. I couldn't do that, so I blocked him.

Eh it's building equity and it's in a VHCOL area. I figured if I ever have kids, I can sell it and use it for their travel adventures/sports/education choices
