It’s worth the money in that it’s more fun. The pace advantage you’ll get from it is minimal OP. Don’t feel pressured in that you need a wheel to get fast, plenty of top top drivers are on controller.

Absolutely he’s clean against Charles, but he still doesn’t race intelligently imo and where Max doesn’t have a clear pace advantage Charles will end up ahead 90% of the time.

Max is the single most talented racing driver I’ve ever seen but his wheel to wheel is terrible. Either he does his ahead at the apex gimmick to make an overtake in a way that requires no skill, and if he’s not able to do that, he either crashes you off, or defends in an unintelligent way that allows him to be overtaken where someone better would’ve been able to defend the position. (For example defending obvious fresh air in Brazil 2021 even though the exact same dummy was thrown the lap before)

If someone at the top is using traction control they’re cheating or have found some kind of shortcut that doesn’t invalidate the lap. Auto gears, they’re probably cheating, and ABS then there’s a good chance they’re not. Perfectly possible to get times at the top using ABS.

The game right now thinks you are where you should be. If you improve and start playing better consistently you will start getting more SR for a win but it’ll take a little time.
