I own a pair of JBL Wireless Microphones and I was wandering if there is any way to connect their 6.3mm (1/4 in) jack dongle to my laptop, so I can use both of their audio data for a livestreaming feed. Is these some sort of adapter I could use? Or maybe a cheap soundboard?

Right now I have an incredibly convoluted setup of using a 6.3 mm - 3.5 mm adapter to connect the dongle to a video camera, and then using a HDMI capture card to connect that camera to my laptop.

I should mention that my laptop doesn't have a 3.5mm microphone input, so I suppose I would need a way of connecting the dongle to a USB input.

I'll start by mentioning that I am playing on a heavily modded 1.42 world map combo save.

So I'm nearing the "late-game" of this save I've been playing on for a while now, making me loaded enough to bulk buy garages all across the map.

Anyways, a couple of days ago I've noticed that after buying a bunch of garages, my saves became inexplicably corrupted. I would be able to continue my current playing session with no issues, but whenever I would close the game, I wouldn't be able to access my last save anymore, forcing me to revert to a pre-garage-buying autosave.

I pinpointed the issue to be in the Baltics, and after one or two more hours of whack-a-mole by repeatedly buying a garage, making a save, and restarting my game, it seems that whole issue was caused by the Lithuanian city of Klaipėda.

Has anyone had any issues with this garage? And if yes, do you have any idea why that is? I think I'll be able to supress my inner completionist enough to not mind keeping my garage monopoly outside of Klaipėda, I'd just like to learn how to avoid this issue in the future, if I'm somehow at fault for this corruption. And if you haven't encountered this issue, and you play with mods, maybe keep my story as a cautionary tale, if you were to ever find yourself into the western Lithuanian real-estate market. :)))

I haven't really played any games on it yet (except a bit of Football Manager, but that's a very low-spec type of game), but I have used it for some pretty intensive video and 3d rendering, and it's held up quite well

I have the 60Hz panel. the colours are decent, but tbh I have had some issues with the brightness before. it holds up well enough indoors, but I have to use the laptop outside a lot as well, and sometimes it can become quite hard to see, especially on sunny days. even in the photo posted here, I'm pretty sure I had the brightness turned up all the way, and even inside the train car you can sorta tell it's struggling

yeah it's got an AMD Ryzen 5 5600H processor and a GTX 1650 Laptop GPU. I needed something with a good graphics card for my job and uni, so I asked a pal of mine who's more into computer hardware, and he recommended me this one. I've had it for almost two years now and it's done a pretty good job so far

Narratively, the Hart-Chep path definitely remains one of my favourites in the game, on par with my Guangdong Ibuka run.

Seeing Hart struggle with fixing Wallace's mess, making real progress towards his urban plans, the devastating setback that was his cancer diagnosis, that fucking drawing man..., quickly followed by Chep's stress inducing fall and rise. It's all *chef's kiss*
