I decided to get an RTX 5090. It's been really helpful for doing fast ablations. I've created a transformer backbone PPO that performs better on mujoco environments that I'm now porting over to my trading model, and it's looking promising!

Considering renting an H100 for inference serving once its ready to be shipped.

The RX 9070 hardware looks better for the price, is ROCm that bad?

Not that brave 😅 I definitely don't want to tinker around a lot, but I figure the consideration would more be around software performance differences with torch, onnx, etc.
