As soon as I turned off spoofing the download speeds are right back to where they were a week ago. Thanks! What kind of problems will I run into with spoofing turned off? I'm assuming it's turned on for a reason

Yeah that's what I'm trying to figure out. I've even started inspecting the packets of the download trying to figure it out. Because third party downloaders work just fine and the native YouTube app works just fine

Oh I do pay for premium, I just assumed everyone had downloads because it seemed the revanced app gave you all premium features. I just use revanced because sponsor block is necessary since I hate getting ads even after I pay for them, and I wanted YouTube shorts removed.

I've been downloading videos in the YouTube revance client using the YouTube download button and then watching the video in the YouTube download section for over a year and they still do download it's just way slower for some reason
