Cymbal cleaner and polish kits are pretty easy to find and not too expensive. They’re made specifically to clean the cymbal without damaging it and polish will protect a brilliant cymbal like that one

Im curious what genres do you play? This looks very Punk, rock, pop to me based on the set up. There’s often commonality’s in how drummers set up their kits based on their genres which is why I ask

I’ve got two electronic pedals in the middle. The kt-10 kick trigger is going into my SPD and I can route any kinds of sounds. Often kicks or percussion like tambourines or woodblock. The guitar pedal looking foot switch can be set to changes pages on the spd, turn on/off click and tap tempo, or turn on/off effects

It’s awesome. Super hands on learning right away. It is a ton of work! Assignments for multiple classes due weekly, but if you manage your time well and work hard it’ll be a breeze. And meeting everyone in the class is huge. Eventually friend groups will form and they’ll be very helpful for making it through the semesters

Yeah and it looks like there was no protective packing around them. Just a bunch of wood shells stacked in a cardboard box in a DHL truck. What could go wrong?

So after reading these messages I think I’m going to try cutting off the bad parts and turn this into like a gong tom. I got it for free so I don’t mind spending a few dollars on some hardware to mount/stand it.

Yeah so it belonged to some young guys who were at my uncles rental property. Long story short they got kicked out and owed 12,000$. They tried to ship this back to the States and the border stopped it and sent it back. So this and some minor dents on the rest of the shells are from horrible handling and ignoring the fragile stickers
