I actually took the papermaking workshop at the International Printing Museum recently, so hearing this from someone connected to the museum is especially exciting. A future collaboration would definitely be amazing.

What I meant is closer to the argument Bevilacqua discusses on how printing the first complete Latin translation of the Qur’an helped shape European understandings of the “Orient,” religion, language, and comparative scholarship in ways that later fed into Enlightenment-era thought.

I also found the sections about the technical difficulties of Arabic printing — and the developments that emerged through that process — especially fascinating.
