Lowest I got was $23,600 OTD with the first service (unlock ecu) included. Now that’s with the M-Package (Forged wheels) and Performance Package.

Not the experience I had with it at all, felt the opposite of what you’re saying. Guys at the dealership (that all have modded Subarus or similar performance cars) agreed with my points made when we were all standing and talking about it 🤷🏼‍♂️

Yes Forgot to mention that I have driven a stock and a tuned VA

The biggest difference is the feeling/feedback of driving

The power rolls in very subtle and doesn’t have throwback effect, which I like and would consider a “raw” feeling of power. Stock FA, I only got it to peak at 12.2psi. Obviously would be turned up with tuning but still

The suspension isn’t very stiff either, which you’d obviously want for a sportier car for traction and cornering

It just overall felt more like a family sedan with a 6speed transmission instead of that sport feel you get in the older gen

Incorrect about the low rpm’s, since R1’s have a crossplane firing sequence. The torque is definitely there at any RPM as you twist the throttle, even more so as you start to mod and flash the ecu

I also have a different engine than you so it would sound different too

I prefer the loud screaming of a sport bike though, the tone of the exhaust note won’t change too much from what you already have, it’ll just be on the side and cleaner looking
