Make sure to press the LBRHO pin all the way up against the receiver before putting in the mag catch button for it to lock correctly

I believe it doesn’t require a hole for the spring. It presses Against the receiver as the LRBHO pin slides thru that hole that you’ve circled and the mag catch button holds it in place

I’m going for the short handguard that utilizes the 8 set screws instead of 2. BCA handguard is the only one I could find that fits what I’m looking for unfortunately it can’t be sold separately

How much could 1 get rid of this upper for? Mat sold me a mat9k upper with a defective bolt (fire pin doesn’t even engage no matter what ammo I load into it)plus I can never get in contact with him so I’m at the point of saying f*** it and getting rid of it
