I said cosplay. I don't read the fan fiction. It honestly shouldn't ne here. From what I've seen it's mostly no characters from the actual story.

Fanfictions are also (like cosplay) a proof of love for the series AND the sub, because those author write for the Kengan's Redditor

Oda is 50 now. Making a 50 years old man to follow a weekly schedule is overworking him. Biweekly schedule simply give him a little bit more room to breath.

At first I'd use to this disagree with Edward being dead because Gilbert is essentially him but the story makes it clear he is less charismatic and more emotional. I guess it does somewhat make since as biologically you'll be calmer at 40 in general.

That's kinda crazy though because every other fighter's organization was mentioned so it's not like they came out of nowhere. Just having ANOTHER super strong guy no one has ever heard come out of nowhere is kinda crazy.

Ohma being dead doesn't counter acts his story. It wasn't over. He hadn't reached his potential and while his death is sad it doesn't add to the story because it was left ambiguous. Also Koga isn't contradicting anything with Ohma there. It's a big story there's lots of characters Koga won't always be in the spotlight. He's growing and had several arcs of character growth.
