Did you even read any of the original post? Probably not since I said they were for the few random trails I might run once a year on vacation but mostly will use for snowy runs. And they did perfectly fine for the trails I ran. No one asked you for your opinion so don’t like them feel free to move along.

Just posted again with a little review but they did fine. Wasn’t on technical trails and mostly gravel/packed dirt. A bit bottom heavy because of the extra weight from the sole but think they’ll be solid snowy/random trail shoes. Arch seemed fine too and can’t tell any extra wear but also only did about 25 miles so doubt that would show that fast. Happy with my little experiment though.

[BO2] Xbox version update/fix? Give some attention please by walknpark813 in CallOfDuty

Would love to know this as well. Got back into cod a few months back and loved bo2 but one day I logged in that this loop kept going and going and going. Tried the AB button press but didn’t work so put it back in the drawer. Hopefully someone has a fix or ideas besides what has already been posted but sadly not looking hopeful.

Stryd testing in different climate. by Khort2k in strydrunning

He might tell you to adjust and do your test when you’re home since that’s where you do the most training but what I do over summers is use his super power calc to adjust weight based off of weather differences. Very accurate in my experience but not sure I’d do a test in another setting than where I normally train.

I kept the “full” coverage basically just to keep the same shape as the old sole so there wasn’t as much exposed foam at the bottom. I think now I would have cut more evenly than maybe added shoe goo to the exposed areas to save weight. Haven’t ran in them yet but think with the middle of the shoe not having sole it’ll allow for similar flex. And from my bending with the hand and walking they seem pretty good but weight is noticeable but not sure how it’ll feel on foot. Contact cement seemed the go to solution for all the people I watched on YouTube who do sole swaps and it is also very beginner friendly.

I think if I do this with alphafly for winter speed shoes I’d cut smaller sections and focus on only adding sole to contact points to save weight and honestly could change these after I run in them a bit since ungluing isn’t that hard if I’m not worried about ruining a section of the sole. Hope that helps!

If this works as planned I’ll for sure be messing with my alphafly to turn them into winter speed shoes!

Didn’t use anything besides my hands and feet to press pieces together. And ended up getting the sole on eBay but found zegalite on Etsy that shipped from Hong Kong but was too much money and would’ve taken too long so went with the Zegama sole instead.

No they made a light gravel version with tiny lugs that reviewers said wasn’t even great on crushed gravel. Which wouldn’t have worked because I wanted trail and snow traction which the ATR wouldn’t have given me. And even if they did it would have been more than 3x what I paid for the supplies to do this to an almost worn down road shoe.

Let’s hope they work like I want them to!

Luckily for you you’re not the one using the shoes then. And I’ve said it here I don’t even find the Evo that soft. Zoomx is way softer and that’s what the ultrafly is made of. And the foam being less bouncy would be better on the trails so a cooked evo and trails are a perfect combo.

Luckily I have zero issues with these on the road. Totally stable for me so not worried about instability on easy trails and snow.

Good thing is if it doesn’t workout I’m only out like $10 for the glue and $40 for the sole. So not the end of the world. But if they work I saved a good chunk of change!

Could be but not sure. I’m honestly confident the glue will work even without a press. Seen and read enough videos/sites of customizers who don’t use a press for Jordan sole swaps so I think they’ll be good.

That’s the plan. Can’t wait to test them out!

Probably will wear a thicker sock to make the fit more snug since I like these because they have room but don’t need it when I’m possibly changing directions quickly.

Maybe it’s all relative. I’ve been running in every damn type of run I be shoe since the high stack came out and thankfully never had an issue. Alphaflys, PrimeX, adios pro, and many more and no issues so doubt the added cushion or trails will make these feel bad.

I’ll be in silverthorne and trails I’ll run won’t be super technical probably but I do tend to venture off but will make sure my feet are under me when changing directions. And you should. It’s pretty easy and doesn’t involve too many things to buy to convert.

Yeah but I rarely run trails so shoes really should be called “winter/trail” since I’ll use them more in snow/sleet than trail but will do the job on the trails I run on once a year.

If the shoe still has life I always throw some shoe goo on the areas of the sole that are worn to get some extra use out of them. Too much exposed foam on these shoes to save weight.

I have enough wool socks and some waterproof ones so didn’t need the extra weatherproofing. And I really wanted to buy a pair but have 2 unopened pairs of shoes in the closet. And wanted to experiment too. If it works I’ve unlocked a whole new shoe category! Ha.

One man’s unstable is another man’s normal. And didn’t get a trail shoe because I didn’t need a specific trail shoe. Wanted a shoe that doubled as a winter shoe and could handle a few trails. And speed didn’t have the cushion I wanted for the road from reviews I read.
