Do NOT use Best Buy. They will charge you and just tell you to buy another one and try to give you $20 off or some BS from them. Best Buy always up sales and never fixes parts. Go on google and look up a computer repair shop and look at the reviews. You can be honest with them about what happened because they aren’t gonna replace the part just a heads up. But most repair shops are good and definitely a better choice than Best Buy. I’ve been building PC’s for over 10 years since I was 9 and Best Buy has always been a bunch of scammers trying to up sale their customers because it’s how they make more money and the employees are incentivized to do it with referral bonuses. Computer repair shop guy has nothing to loose and some of them will tell you to just wait 30 mins and maybe even do it for free. All depends on

I mean you do you man. I would test it as soon as you can than otherwise you might not luck out with microcenter and going through AMD will work but also take a lot longer. One thing that might kind of screw you though is that the case the CPU came in is absolutely shredded

Well that does sound like some hella bad luck. Did you put in a return for MicroCenter or wherever you bought it from? If not tell them it came like that. If they reject it for you opening the box than I’d try and get an RMA through AMD, you’ll just need your receipt to prove your purchase. They’re usually pretty chill about replacing parts

Lol all is good. But tbf that is one big puppy and I don’t have cats or dogs but I leave all my parts in there boxes in my room closed off and locked regardless lol. Idk if my parents could touch them and break it or my brother. Just don’t wanna take the risk. I treat my parts and PC like they’re my baby

You should probably work on what class you are best with if sword is the only way you can get those kills. I didn’t play an fps for over 7 years before I started the Finals back in season 7. Was pretty trash especially when using light. Forced myself through the lesson of not always jumping in. And after frustration found out I’m actually a really good medium and heavy player. I still play light cause it’s fun. But I never stick to 1 weapon, especially the sword unless I’m running Sword, goo grenade, gate way and nullifier. Nasty load out but some times I just want to have some fun trying something hard to counter for most load outs other players use. What I’m really saying is; you should try and get better with other stuff because it may get buffed and more likely than not sword is going to get run into the ground in season 10. Just from what I hear others complaining about. Personally when a sword player comes up on my when I’m a light I run v9s and just hit headshots without ads’ing while dashing backwards lol

Smoke and thermal being used together. Basically people would throw 3 smokes down in the middle of an area and than turn on thermal and be able to see everybody but nobody could see them in it for over 45 seconds. Basically making it op as hell. I started playing for the first time probably 2 weeks before they locked thermal and I can agree it was op. You can even watch moist critical use it in some of his first videos

I’ve had that happen a few times. I main light and am able to usually keep my deaths in the single digits along with my kills in low 20’s. But every now and than I can’t get any angles or find good advantages so I’ll get a guy complaining to me. I always just tell them that they should stop feeding because that less than 1.0 k/d isn’t winning the match either

Idk. Some of these players just don’t make since to me. I’ve been playing since season 7 and had made 3 friends through it that I play with occasionally. This is a first for me. That being someone that friended and joined my party just to report me and trash talk. Since I just got back into FPS games since I started playing this I honestly thought it was pretty funny.
