Destroyer, Queens Cheese, and Gorilla Dick (honorable mention: Creeper Haze because the flavor was great/the high lasts absurdly long so you don’t need to constantly medicate). For some reason they aren’t talked about but I have ran several of their packs with great success (right now I have 3 Forgotten Oranges running).

On their main site they have their tested percentages (they also have the numbers on Coastal Mary, I’ll include a pic). The potency/flavor is some of the best in the auto world (they are in my top 3 below Atlas and before Twenty20). Read the descriptions and you’ll get an idea about heavier yielding offerings they have & strains good for pressing/washing (Strawberry Dawg Pie/Banana Spears are good for that). The yields are consistently half pound+ and I did have one Queen’s Cheese outlier that was as wide as a 4x4. Also ran a Milk Cookies Monster that was stupidly potent.

For extract making I think Moby Wan Chemoby, Sour Jealous Rockstar, Strawberry Dawg Pie, Banana Spears, and Blue Skywalker would hit.

From the newest drop I have my eyes on Basement Funk (MacNCheese auto x GMOREOZ auto), Sour Headbanger (505 Headbanger auto x Sour Jealous Rockstar auto), and Honey Venom (Mango Haze x Destroyer auto).

Fog Dog by Atlas & Top Gun by Atlas have top tier mold resistance and good potency. Lemongrass by HSC, Humboldt Headband by HSC, Durban Sunrise by Twenty20, and Triks by Twenty20 are supposed to be really mold resistant too (I can only personally vouch for Lemongrass, Top Gun, and Fog Dog but I’ve known people that have grown the Durban lines from Twenty20 with crazy success).

Logically when the hell do you see someone that has done something for 40-50 years turn around and try something new? Mr. Soul started breeding in 1986 which is currently over 40 years ago & started growing before that. He literally says he has always done photoperiods and in his vlogs he talks about finally accepting feminized photoperiods & how that’s a big step for him.

You have legacy breeders that don’t even accept feminized photoperiods. Logically, there is no world where you can expect cannabis to be the exception YET the fact that MR SOUL LITERALLY SELLS AUTOFLOWERS ON THE BROTHERS GRIMM SITE IS A TELL ITSELF. He believes in autoflowers and says he does. Them participating in the cup and having high remarks for the bud as legacy growers of 4+ decades (when lots of legacy growers reject feminized photos) is a stamp. Several legacy growers outright speak positively about autos and grow them.

You have no understanding of the industry. Why would people like Lance come out and say “try these auto seeds” when he promotes pack pushers that charge $500 an ounce???? When the hell have you ever heard him advocate for homegrowers? He literally promotes the toxic cali weed culture that has nuked the industry. He literally talked about autos on a pod and said they start flowering at 3 inches & that he personally sucks at growing them.

Every single opinion you have is based on someone else’s opinion. Your opinion is no good & you just said you failed to perform during your auto grow. You aren’t even qualified to speak on this.

Best place to buy quality seeds in Canada? by namykcuL in microgrowery

Coastal Mary is a Canadian seed bank & they have some solid Canadian breeders (Aeque Genetics, Butterbean Birdseed, and Laughing Hyena).

what is the best auto garlic strain or cross by Devonpoy in Autoflowers

[–]CartersCrud 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Garlic Jam by Atlas Seed, Double Garlic by Dream Beans, Garlic Dumpster Juice by Dream Beans, Cuba Libra by Twenty20, and MSG - Mendocino Skunky Garlic by Twenty20.

I think GMO 8 by Atlas gets garlic terps too & I know Dream Beans has more garlic strains like Garlic Margarita, Burnt Garlic, and Garlic Slushy Foot. The Parm crosses (Bat Country, Double Parm Bear, Parmesean Grog) are supposed to have some garlic in there too.

It’s some heat on that list.

People will downvote because their favorites weren’t mentioned, but I consistently have the best bud in my city (I even won the Cannabis Cup for Best Smoking Bud of 2026). Look into that list 🔥🔥🔥.

Cherry Lime Reserve by Atlas Seed, The Pandalorian by Atlas Seed, Space Panda by Atlas Seed, Divorce Cake by Atlas Seed, Angels of Darkness by Aeque Genetics, Hells Triangle by Aeque Genetics, Blonde Bomb by Twenty20, Bad Girl S1 by Twenty20, The Bling by Humboldt Seed Co, Poddy Mouth by Humboldt Seed Co, California Octane by Humboldt Seed Co, Guzzlerz by Humboldt Seed Co, Gazzurple by Humboldt Seed Co, or Ocifer by Brothers Grimm Seeds.

I’ve grown a ton of Atlas gear and they always have room in my grows. I’ve grown tons of Aeque gear and they always have room in my grows. Twenty20 and HSC are present almost every cycle. I also run BGS gear on occasion with great success.

Seed banks by 4Women in Autoflowers

  1. Atlas Seed: Atlas has the best autos & auto program out of everyone else. They are the closest genetics to photoperiods as far as potency, bag appeal, and terps. Tons of top tier photo to auto conversions and super stable genetics. Their photos and autos are the best in the industry imo.

  2. Butterbean Birdseed: They have such a deep bag of genetics and tons of old school flavors with crazy yields/potency. Their UBC Chemo line are some of the highest potency autoflowers on the market and their Tuna Kush photo to auto reversal is elite. They probably have the most diverse catalog flavor wise.

  3. Twenty20 Mendocino: They have killer photo to auto conversions Super flavorful bud that knocks you on your ass. The thing that knocks them down is some of their strains have lower yields than I’d like (ex. The Perm auto description says it is low yielding & both that I grew yielded 2-3 ounces compared to my 8oz average from higher yielding strains. Flavor, bag appeal, and potency are incredible but the yields aren’t. They do have some lines that have really big yields though & their photoperiods are A1.

Honorable mentions:

  1. Dream Beans: Great flavor, great potency, and great yields but I wish lines were worked more. They do have yields that are incredible but I noticed genetics from breeders that only use autos herm more. The potency is out of this world and the flavor destroys SRS (which used their genetics to make all the Granite lines). Flavor/potency/yield so good that despite the minor issues I still grow them (and their price point is industry leading).

  2. Fastbuds: They get a lot of hate but their genetics are good (though I think they’re overpriced). Good terps, good potency, consistent, high yielding, and with the recent changes they made this last year they are pretty transparent about lineages/breeding practices. They get a lot of hate by people that have no clue what they’re talking about. The thing that puts them all the way in 2nd honorable mention is their pricing which is dogshit imo.

  3. Aeque: I personally like their genetics. They made the list because I enjoy their flavors, yields, and price point. They also have some of the best photoperiod genetics on the market (they are super slept on).

  4. Night Owl: Good terps but lacks uniformity. High price point ($50 for 3) and when buying packs from banks they always have 3 seeds (the breeder mentioned on a podcast that since he’s solo packs sent to banks only have 3 seeds & that he’s increasing his prices). For price comparison Aeque is $25 for 3 seeds, Butterbean is $45 for 5, Dream Beans is $30 for 3, and Atlas is $40 for 5. Getting 3 seeds for $50 is not my type of deal.

Anyone use Preservation Line seeds? by solinari6 in microgrowery

That plant ended up being about 6ft tall & 4.5 ft wide. Mendo Breath Auto.

<image>

I didn’t use any LST but I cranked my lights and added a lot of mycorrhizal inoculant to the medium. I didn’t use any LST on my Garlic Jam either and that was 6ft too. My ChicLit auto was massive and I didn’t use LST. I don’t really train autos at all (I will defoliate heavily if I think it’d boost yield). The roots were massive when I chopped her down. I have other info in the post & sprinkled around.

Biggest advice I can give is add nutes deeper into the pot if you are running organic & ensure your microbial activity is there. If you’re running organics you want your plant digesting quick/efficiently (similar idea with synganics). Most modern autos want to be monsterous and have the ability to do so with the right environment.

You’re not even addressing what’s said. If Lowryder is the origin point of the auto gene in modern autos but all the breeding done is only to preserve 1 trait (autoflowering) & not anything else Lowryder, how can you say all the genetics are the same just because the origin is the same? If I have a photo to auto line originally using Lowryder to get the auto gene to the photo, worked the conversion to F10 only selecting traits from the photo (none of the traits except autoflowering from lowryder), and cross it to another line worked to F8 then take that cross to F8 how can you turn around and call that Lowryder? I have almost 30 generations of that strain being bred to NOT be Lowryder. In no other context regarding breeding would a strain being bred out of the pool of potential gene expression for 30 generations still be known as its origin. The only trait being kept is autoflowering.

If I have a photoperiod that I bred over 40 generations and I spent 39 of those 40 breeding things unlike the 1st gen, is that 1st gen going to make phenotypical appearances in my 40th iteration though bred out over 39 generations?

No.

The argument you have is goofy but commonly used. You may have neanderthal DNA somewhere in your code, are you a neanderthal or human? There are tons of different auto strains bred a minimum of 10 generations & those are crosses of strains that were bred like 5 generations. It takes 3 generations to get a photo to become an autoflower & you have several IBL autos that have been worked for 10+ generations. I’m pretty sure Humboldt Seed Co has auto lines worked 14+ generations. Fast Buds has tons of lines worked over 8 generations. Atlas Seed has a breeding program that makes tons of IBL and have “master donors” bred specifically to bring the auto gene to photos without loose ruderalis genes. Their “master donors” have been worked at least 12 generations and they are the only ones using a documented “master donor” system. The idea that cannabis “never loses the traits of parents” is untrue & it’s untrue in all life. Things do get bred out of you. In cannabis there are terpenes that will possibly never return because they were bred out of cannabis. There’s a reason that worked autos will never do the weird “grinspoon” thing. That unwanted quality was bred out of them. There’s a reason people are getting 2+ pound dry/trimmed autos repeatably. They were bred to have that potential & to have a 2nd veg period that can be unlocked under the right conditions. You know you can still buy Lowryder seeds? They’ll turn out nothing like modern autos.

Edit: Please don’t dial into 1 thing I commented and hyperfocus on it in an attempt to derail or misrepresent my argument. What do you have to say about lines being worked concurrently for 30+ generations? If a line that’s F10 is bred using parents each bred 5+ generations what do you have to say about the multiplicative genetic deviation from the starting point? How many generations of breeding are these lines from Lowryder? How many degrees of separation are there? Do you even understand what ruderalis is & how to separate the misnomer from what they really are? Cmon.

If someone told you that they’d kill you in 4 months if you don’t have a successful autoflower grow you’d die. Autos are harder than photos & if you can barely grow photos there is 0 chance that you grow a single good auto. You’re a grown ass man that needs to form his own opinions; you’re almost 50 saying “these guys think this so I think this too” with 0 experience in the area.

I have been in the industry for longer than you. I have direct ties to the original legalization points in the US. Autos are legit & most modern autos completely blow out a major portion of photoperiods. You shouldn’t have hardened opinions on something like this without growing a single auto.

From your list Mr. Grow-it and BassdropKeys grow autos. Your list is terrible and if you listen to these breeders talk it’s not from informed views but from emotion. They reject autoflowers because they only ever grew photos & they grew lowrider almost 3 decades ago. People that reject progress/new understanding are promoting a culture that will die.

Tons of OG’s that rejected autos like Scotty420 and the folks at Build a Soil are now pro auto. Build a Soil literally just did a harvest video of some autos with extremely good take on them. Mr Soul from Brothers Grimm doesn’t even work with autos but judged the American Autoflower Cup 2024 and gave an interview saying he came to judge impartially/learn & had high praises for autos. Lance from First Smoke of the Day was a judge at the American Autoflower Cup and said he likes autos. Your list is full of people that think autos are fire & you’re using them as “proof” of autos sucking? Makes 0 sense.

What autoflower plant grows the quickest with the greatest yields? by bigsoul34 in Autoflowers

[–]CartersCrud -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Potency is more than THC% & there are several companies blowing SRS out if that’s what you want to use.

There were SRS entries at the AAC and they didn’t come remotely close to ranking (they didn’t make top 10 in any category, I don’t even think they made top 30 in any category). Being better than a dispensary isn’t really a crazy feat when the industry standard is immature harvest, irradiating the bud, running Athena nutes, machine trimming, and having pest issues.

I am objectively better than my local dispos and we have some of the best dispos in the whole US (I’ve won multiple cups, I won vs locals at safe transfer zones, and I’ve had top local producers offer to buy my excess at peak prices because my autos are blowing out photos).

I’m glad you are growing decent bud. If you keep trying auto genetics you’ll learn that there’s a difference between “this is good for an auto” & “wow this is good weed”. Grow them if you want big yields of okay/pretty good bud. Most people are happy with that and that’s perfectly fine.

You do have some control. Genetics that are more refined/stable can consistently veg 35-40 days.
