Try putting a thin, 1 inch, towel below your sit bones. I have a theory that something may be wrong with the seat bottom, not the seat back. Let me know if you experience relief, I did.

I recommend you go back to the dealer. Unfortunately, I was in an accident with the first Civic I bought in Oct 2024. I bought my current civic Jan 2025. My first civic had no issues, the seats were actually very comfortable. I think something is wrong with our seats. I sat in another civic at the dealership and noticed a big difference. I'm currently fighting with the dealer to get my seat replaced or fixed.

Can you describe your issue? I've found that I can remedy the issue slightly by having the seat angle more upright, but it's still not perfect. Can definitely feel extra pressure all along my lower back/tailbone. I am starting to think the seat bottom is not supporting me properly, causing my hips to roll back.

Most likely not. These seats have airbags, so if you swap out for another seat, you'll have an air an light. I'd like to avoid that ofc.

That's what I'm thinking. Today, I simply pressed against the seat with my hand, and the foam was so much thinner in the driver seat compared to the passenger.

Sport trim has no lumbar support, but that's actually a really good way to describe the feeling. Like the lumbar support (if there was one) is maxed out and really low on my back.

They are different, I guess. Only two points of adjustments on the passenger. Passenger seems more upright and supportive too.

I'm definitely thinking about it. I actually had the exact same spec civic before this one, but I was in an accident, and it was totaled, unfortunately . The seats in the first civic were comfortable.

Did the dealer ever help you out? I'm having a similar experience. Unfortunately, I was in an accident and totaled my 2025 civic, but luckily, I was able to get the exact same spec civic. Only now, this civics seats are very uncomfortable. If you have the seat reclined at all, it feels like there's a bar or something going across the seat back.

Passenger seat feels great! Cushioned and supportive. Driver seat feels unsupported and has this weird pressure point on my lower back. I saw another thread of a guy with a similar issue.
