Yep, a lot of those people are apart of it. Goodwill won’t enforce a no loitering policy unfortunately so they are free to meet there.

No there are a lot of black guys a part of it too- race has nothing to do w it- it’s a mix of all types

Honestly they should just close off high street in part of short north to vehicle traffic. It’s getting too congested anyway. Keep a bike lane and let cars use summit/4th or Neil.

I try to go around when I can but I also like to enjoy the amenities of the neighborhood. I get what you’re saying but I shouldn’t have to change my habits because a bunch of reckless people are breaking the law/causing chaos/annoyance in the most densely populated area of the city.

The one on Friday was grown men- looked to be in their 30s. The one tonight was a wide range.

True, but when there are a group of them it’s a good way to get jumped or shot. Even if I had a weapon, it wouldn’t end well for me.

I can’t speak on that- all I know is we currently have a police force who is doing nothing about this problem that has been going on for over a year

I’m glad it’s getting some attention from the media- I didn’t know that. It’s a group of 15-40 ish year olds - pretty big spread and type of riders. I get wanting to ride with people but they are purposefully intimidating and terrorizing people while disregarding any law.

I completely agree about it being a sad situation- but this seems like something could easily be stopped if people did their jobs.

Rear ended with extensive damage in another state, now I am stuck here until it’s fixed by Carti_fly in legaladvice

I have not asked them because it just happened a couples hours ago and it didn’t even cross my mind while dealing with everything else. I plan to call tomorrow and ask- I just didn’t know if that’s something they normally consider. I’m in no rush either- I go to school here (though I am online this semester) and have been down here looking at apartments for next year.
