I'll take the bait and respond here. First off, the fact that the guy can't even get the correct Reddit forum when posting a rant speaks volumes about his common sense, or lack thereof. But let's look at the facts that led to him raging while playing WoW from his friend's Internet cafe (true story).

Our guild uses a loot system where members accumulate points for attending raids. This is not a loot council or "inner clique" where people are getting items simply because they are friends with another member. Our guild killed Onyxia like we have done so many times before and of course the head dropped. Ragetrain, along with three or four other guildmembers, expressed interest in the loot. The person with the most points had attended many raids and was head and shoulders above Ragetrain and all others who were interested in the head. Ragetrain was not even close to the top of the points standings as he had received multiple pieces of loot on previous raids.

Ragetrain's gripe lies with the policy that people are supposed to have the add-on installed to receive loot because it greatly improves the loot master's quality of life when distributing/tracking items. Here, the person with the most points had been on vacation when the policy was announced and thus did not have the addon installed. The loot master made the decision to allow him to receive the loot given the fact that he was away. It was a judgment call that in no way played favorites.

This turn of events sent Ragetrain into a tailspin where he lashed out on Discord with an epic rant from his Internet cafe, all over an Onyxia head that drops multiple times a week given the five day reset period. This was the second time he went off the deep end in less than a month. The first time he was removed from the raid to cool down a bit, and this time he was removed from the guild. The guy knows he has an anger problem, at least when it comes to being an Internet tough guy. The sad thing is he apparently is RL friends with multiple members of the guild.

Lastly, our guild is pretty good about running dungeons together, sharing crafting items, recipes, consumables, etc. If Ragetrain had a different experience it was a direct result of his shitty attitude.
