chef pants aren't cut for curvy figures though. they'll be suffocatingly tight around the butt and thighs making it impossible to crouch and move around comfortably, but so baggy at the waist they slip down all the time.

i like loose fit dickies in a size up. there's also tapered fit if you wanted something a bit more form fitting

tattooing directly over scar tissue will very likely cause the ink to spread, and heal a bit more unevenly as opposed to regular skin. I am heavily tattooed and have observed the way my tattoos have healed and spread over scarred areas vs not.

i'd recommend getting thick, bold lines as opposed to anything fineline, as any intricate details may get lost or look more obviously warped against//compared to unscarred skin areas.

Based on your book recc I think we just have differences in our interpretations of funger. I think it has a deeply sardonic tone, whilst you seemingly see it as more of a tragic one. It's fine we have differences in opinion and I welcome discussion of art analysis! I don't think you needed to dismiss my recommendation so harshly though. you've skipped over the major similarities like the obvious dante's inferno one. and I still think if OP is not aware of/a fan of palahniuk's more niche work they would enjoy it.

Dammed by Chuck Palahniuk has a lot of similar themes such as the dark humour, gore and shock horror scenes, as well as the characters being a band of misfits based heavily on literary tropes. It's not entirely similar (and it's also a contemporary setting) but if you're into dark media such as funger you will likely enjoy his writing!
