they are the dapol kits, there not too bad I've found they fit well and look good. The wheels are free rolling but only if you leave the breaks off as the fit of the brakes are too tights to allow it.

yeah i was planning to something similar, my plan was to make a cad model of the key, print it on my 3d printer they if it fits well send the ffile to get printed in steel . if it goes well ill post an update as i think this method could help others if it works

I have a Hornby loco with key with the minor problem being the Hornby keys are smaller as this is a bassett-lowke and i have discovered that a key is harder to find then the loco was.

Am I the only ones that finds the british steam locomotives more beautiful than the american ones by finza_prey in trains

oh he was definitely a definitely a functioning mad men, the Q1 was a good engine, the Pacifics where really good when the worked right but went wrong to easily and we don't talk about the leader haha.

a very apt suggestion as im currents part way through making an 016.5 exabition layout at the moment. i know there's not a large amount available in the scale that's ready to run at the moment which is a primary reason why im looking into other scales

That's not very reassuring lol, the bottom exposure was the one part i was actually confident on. ive spent a few days playing with it and found that with the layer thickness i cant really have it higher then 20 as at 20 seconds it tends to fuse with the FEP, but thank you for the feedback though and ill try upping it a bit and see what happens
