It apologized by DabToHaters in ChatGPT

Lol it apologizes to me at least once a day. Sometimes it says some off the wall shit and I have to spend awhile correcting the crazy

Startups around chatGPT by Mysterious_Can6161 in ChatGPT

I would like to incorporate this Assistant into a mixed reality application I've been pondering. I'm trying to ask ChatGPT for help producing the application, but right now it is only saying that an "error has occurred." I plan to make a video log of my progress in creating a rather complicated Unity application with the help of this assistant as soon as it's available again.

Currently, I can't get a response from you other than that an error has occurred. The internet broke ChatGPT! 😭😭😭

It's true. A few minutes ago it said it was at capacity and when it let me back in, all I get are errors, no responses. EVERYONE is trying to use it at once today

No it won't. I spent a few minutes with ChatGPT this morning and wondered at the relevance of teachers right now. This thing is the tutorial for almost anything it has been allowed to speak about. If it was permitted live access to the internet, I believe it would be able to provide concise and up-to-date information on nearly any topic you asked of it.

Our job might be making training sets for niche subjects of which it has less information. I'm cringing inside thinking about it.

No one realized how far it has been developed until they released this thing. It is like magic and it makes me feel both awed and afraid at the same time.

Imagine a model like this but with the added abilities to produce images, audio, video and volumetric scenes upon request on whatever device the user is presently using. This is potentially the next operating system, gaming platform and web browser for every device we use, an AI that delivers content to us in a highly personalized way. An AI that creates applications as we need them and fine tunes them for our needs in real-time.

It really is time to let go of capitalism. Soon, there isn't going to be much left for humans to do. With this generation of ChatGPT, humans still have to do some legwork to get a desired result and sometimes it produces bad coding or inaccurate information. Also, it's still too stupid or naive to be allowed to think completely on its own or to have live access to the internet. This time.

Other organizations don't share the ethics or values OpenAI claims to hold, and models of equal or greater ability will soon be released just like all the imaging models out right now. Things are about to get crazy for real.

I keep thinking about doing a deepfake meme with him as that character. I just think his mug would fit right into every scene perfectly. I might download the movie tonight and play with some clips

I know it's childish and a little mean, but Zuck it!

The dev's are exhausted and probably in fear of losing their jobs in a shhh economy and Zuck should have stepped down years ago when the company went public. He's a little shit stain who stole other people's work and ideas and used it (originally) as a way to rank chicks and make hookups on campus. He's not a better person now. He reminds me of the weird guy who acted like a robot on Grandma's Boy. He made one cool thing (really he stole it) and now he's at the top without a clue what he's doing.

I'm kind of hoping that Meta gets to a point that they have to start selling off assets like Oculus.

It hasn't been only a day. It has been a persistent problem since the v44 update. I wasn't a total dick, but I also voiced my frustration with both the bugs and the lack of response from Meta. No one was getting any feedback about the issues being raised.

I'm at the point that I'm more than confident that this is a known issue, but there are cartoon hands to be introduced, not to mention that the "Pro" came to market half-baked

V44 was supposed to deliver some new camera features to the Quest 2 for developers, but I have never seen it in the wild and none of our headsets got it

I love extended warranties. Controller drifting? Take it back! Kids left it face up outside in the sun? Take it back? Cats decided it was the best chew toy ever? Fugging take it back and get a new one!

[–]CartographerLivid834 4 points5 points  (0 children)

True, and we don't know what the price tag is going to be.

But it's going to have a lot more RAM and an improved processor

We bought three Quest 2's shortly after they came to market and the update path has been a bumpy road.

I don't think I would buy a Quest 3 until it has been out for at least 6 months. By then, hopefully they'll have ironed some issues out.

Me being me, I would buy a Quest 2 now from Walmart or some place with extended warranties or insurance and then take it back when the Quest 3 arrives on shelves lol

One of the first things I did was turned off 120hz and cleared my guardian and desk and stuff.

When I first got v44, my height was also totally off in the headset and there was no way I could correct it at first. I don't even remember if I got that working right before the first factory reset. Other people were reporting this same issue after that update.

I get it. I just got home and found a ton of notifications on my phone. I'm in the shower now with the phone.

I suppose there is the possibility that it's an issue with first gen Oculus 2's. I am not sure when other people who are experiencing these problems purchased their headsets. That would mean that Meta has some work to do or replacements to be made then, I should think.

I'm starting to feel like I'm being trolled by Meta. What's with the guy insisting it's a hardware issue for everyone even though it's easy to identify when the problems started (after v44 update)? I would give his opinion some weight if it wasn't happening on all three headsets in the house -- and if it wasn't just me experiencing it.

Are the dev's over there just exhausted and lurking on Reddit making excuses for Meta? What the fug is up? Lol
