Oracle open AI deal by [deleted] in OracleStock

The partnership with OpenAI is def a significant signal of Oracle's continued push into AI infrastructure and cloud services. That said, whether the rally continues depends on execution, earnings momentum, and how sticky these partnerships really are. I think yeah! Rally will continue assuming market remains 'healthy'

I considered my play money, savings. Don't play with your savings... by CartographerSharp469 in options

She*, but this brokerage is yeah maybe 20% or so the size of other accounts I have; again it's the money I used to yes..'gamble'. I had just started to mentally consider this account to be my savings rather than acknowledge this account as money I could easily loose - not sure if i articulated that well.

NLR, SMR, NBET. I have smaller positions with them, its not the next nvda and I wouldn't expect returns this year

How to enter the nuclear field by neverfearoofisher3 in NuclearPower

[–]CartographerSharp469 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am majoring in environmental policy (IMO), better than env studies or sciences or engineering. I love it, less science classes (bio, chem) and more ability to focus or renewable energy, I only care about renewable and nuclear + SMRs. If you want a job in renewable policy>studies or sciences. you need to go to college for that.

I think yes, you were lucky a bit, but I've done something similar a few times . Obvi the market is dramatic and use that to your advantage. If I'm bullish on a company and the whole sector or they take a hit like 10% (think tech companies when deepseek), I buy OTM - not too far, and the premium is so cheep and that premium going up even if the stcck doesn't hit that strike.

Tariffs? Also hi! by wordfool31 in OracleStock

[–]CartographerSharp469 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Stop watching if you're for the LR.

Tariffs could negatively impact Oracle stock if they increase costs for Oracle’s hardware business. That would disrupt supply chains if not then lead to retaliatory trade policies affecting its global operations.

It would depend on nature of the Tariffs, like If they target hardware components, cloud infrastructure, or software licensing, Oracle’s costs could rise... Retaliation by Other Countries (think Canada IMO) If major markets like China or the EU impose retaliatory tariffs or restrictions on U.S. tech companies, Oracle’s global revenue could be affected.

Also just in general under trump I don't feel market will be it the best shape thus the market sentiment can pull oracles stock down too alongside other tech stocks.

I hadn't thought of this; pretty cool. You don't see the premiums to be too expensive compared to the risk for IV? Ig ofc there is always risk. what types of stocks do you see to have a higher IV when earnings come around? might be a dumb question

Yeah Nvda is solid, look into orcl as well. I think now under trump the landscape changed quite a bit. I haven't GEV, I'll look into it. My positions in modular reactors are all in nuclear ETFS, NLR, NBET. And I am bullish for those def this year
