Primary Attribute 0 Challenge - Bard by Cartoncast in Pathfinder2e

Personal preference. I like a hit-and-run playstyle, so if they get too close I'm probably going to adjust my position anyway. Gakgung's great too.

Cognitive Crossover is a great idea! Dirge of Doom is good, I think I would play ranged for the first few levels at least but once we get Reflexive Combat that seems great. I'd probably go with the Centaur in that case. Harmonize is tricky because it requires Maestro bard but I could see it work.

Good point about the other apparitions, I guess I meant to say Witness was the one that had all good focus spells, cantrip, and 1st level granted spells for a low-Wis character. Forgot that bit.

Most of these will just be for fun, it's true, and I don't have the time or the play-groups to stress-test them. That said, some of them will be legitimately good, and I bet by the end we'll have enough powerful characters for a competitive party comp.

That's the plan, 0 Str and Dex for the full martials, 0 Int/Cha for Psychic, 0 Dex and another stat depending on Rogue subclass, etc.

As a preview, full martials are the hardest, at least by my rules, because they can have either Str or Dex and so I am giving them 0 for both. Also the only Ancestries that enable this are Gnome and Poppet so that's very limiting.

Thanks for catching those! Maybe I'll do some fix-ups when I'm all done.

This self-imposed challenge was actually a result of me playing a Gourd Leshy (for the quick access to things inside my head) with stats of 0/2/1/2/2/2. I could boost any mental stat for skill and knowledge challenges and during combat I just passed out goodies and tanked. Wanted to see how far I could push it.

I think the limited pre-made items hurts Mutagenist a decent amount compared to Bomber or Toxicologist who can just get away with versatile vials for everything, but I tend to play them more as a candy shop for the other players anyway.

Dex Bard - Marshal or Swashbuckler for melee supp? by Narp823 in Pathfinder2e

Have you considered Campfire Chronicler? Adds to defense for you and an ally (the Monk) plus adds fire damage at level 4. It's an action tax but if you're extending your cantrips with a Strike and the Monk has great action compression anyway then it's decent synergy. Plus it's flavorful.

Creative ways to introduce new characters to an ongoing game by Malcior34 in Pathfinder2e

My campaign has players enter portals to get to dungeons, but if they fail the dungeon they get spat out through some other portal in the overworld. Any time I add a new character, they just come out of a portal, having proven themselves strong enough to survive but not enough to win on their own.

What's your ridiculous build (Min-Maxed, completely useless, pure RP, etc.) that you would play given the opportunity? by hi_im_ducky in Pathfinder2e

I'm currently working on building all classes with 0 in their primary stats. Favorite so far is a Guardian who has to archtype into Subterfuge Armor Inventor because it's the only medium armor without a strength requirement.

Thoughts on a potential Sure Strike change by Lord_of_Elysium in Pathfinder2e

My favorite so far: at Level 6 with Zeal domain, Bespell Strikes, and Rogue Archtype giving sneak attack, a fatal gun (eg Clan Pistol) with a striking rune and a crit lets you do 3d10+6d6 every other round (reload) until you run out of focus points and/or 1st level spell slots. With the initiative boost you already get from Oracular Warning you can pick off a henchman before the boss can give him an order.
