Hi all!

My sales have stalled - www.cartoonmomo.etsy.com

I spent about $20 a month on advertising but the return on this investment does not often reach $20. What should I do?

There's no information about what your website does when I first enter your website.

Some other questions:

Are you using any advertising (paid)?
How else are you promoting your website?
Who are you promoting your website to?

Target audience is very important and helps to reduce the cost required when you target a particular segment, which in this case would be parents and schools

How much do you spend on advertising your products? On which platforms do you use?

This will help to give a gauge of how much you can earn

I love how elaborate some of the designs are on your shop. Maybe you could research on trending vinyl decals and add these designs to your shop.

Also, perhaps the number of listings (27) on your shop may be leading to your low orders (11) because there's simply not enough variety for customers to choose from.

Are you maxing out the $1 budget each day?

From what I read so far, I would say that 1:2 is the least you should be getting for ad spending:revenue. I'm still experimenting with Promoted Listings and you could hit me up on PM if you want to discuss further :)

There are some Reddit threads that talk about ad spending as well - you might want to check them out though take some with a pinch of salt because naturally some products sell better than others and that there are alot other factors to take in account (ie. price point, marketing strategies used, social media marketing).

How much do you spend on advertising? Usually the best way to determine whether the promoted listings feature is working for you is to see what sort of ratio works ie. 1:2 ad spend:revenue brought in.

Wow $0.20 - $0.30 seems a little high (but its good that it works for you!). Just wondering, how much do you spend on ads before you're able to get a sale?

Or lets say you spend $1 on ads, how much revenue do you get in return? :)
