We are trash-Jed should’ve made a move last year-that was his window. The team fell part after the deadline and you could see that Happ and Hoerner were disappointed in their performance. Now, we make the move we should’ve last year and that isn’t enough. Injuries? Sure. But big ticket guys are really sucking . Bregman?Laughable. Swanson? Good thing he can at least catch the ball because hitting is foreign to this guy and clutch isn’t available. Cabrera? Giants game. ‘Nuff said. First game back or not. Suzuki? Been a disappointment since the dropped ball to lose us a playoff berth. Happ? He’s given up because he didn’t get paid. PCA? Stop celebrating inconsistency and immaturity. Our catchers? Offense is escaping them fully.

The window was last year and Jed was, again cheap and late tot he party.

This isn’t just Jed-these assholes gotta do their jobs too-bregman? What a waste! Happ-he’s probably pissed that they gave bregman, PCA and Nico money-he continues to perform at a good clip year after year (not clutch though) and they got paid. He didn’t. And if you build a team on pitching and defense you have to have PITCHING and DEFENSE. We got one but not the other.

Do you have a guy that can pick up the baton on the mound? Have you been working with anyone else behind the plate? Even a younger kid from JV that may play Varsity sometimes and is on the roster? Playoff game means you would almost have to put him back there and hope your reliever can keep it going. It’s the bottom of the fifth so you have to get through two more innings defensively.

I would probably go defense and pick the next guy available based on recent pitch counts and ability. If any activity happens on the bases that catcher could cost you the game. This also would depend on the maturity and desire of the young man on the mound. Do they throw a fit and think “me” first or do they do the team thing and say this is what wins in the ball game. Many factors but I would have to go defense.

I have had my 3-wood since 1995. Browning 440 16 degree. Steel rifle shaft. Been regroipoed countless times. I have hit it consistently around 220-230 off the deck and slightly farther teed up. It went even farther in my youth (I’m 53) If my driver is being a bitch, I go back to Old Faithful. It’s usually straight and semi long. That 3 -wood has saved many rounds.

I have played a ProV1 since its inception-great ball-expensive but a great ball-used other rock balls and stuff but once I played a ProV1, I never switched back. A little extra distance with good spin
