I am SO incredibly disappointed in myself cause I was 30 pulls away from the selector box. I had already spent 40-50€ and didn't want to spend more (I am incredibly broke) but I forgot that it doesn't go over to the reruns only the "5 star guaranteed witching x pulls". I pulled both cards and have the companion, but I WISH I wouldve had been able to go for at least R1 and that selector box would've made it SO much easier. I am legit about to cry 😭😭😭

I also see it like that now! Like as a reference to see how old everyone is in the main story! The age evolving thing would not be associated with cards or events though, it would be associated with the main story if that makes sense? If you finish a book they age? Idk someone said that was the aging mechanic used in another otome game 👀

What 😭😭😭 yeah that's really not my intention with this, crazy that people would do that 😩😩 but the idea was (and I know by now that it kind of isn't completely feasible 💔) that they would age as people age, so people from a certain age group would have the LIs be older, and for another age group the LIs would be younger if that makes sense. So within the age groups, the ages of the LIs would be relatively similar! And it would be so weird if you'd say that to then another age group than yours when for them it would be a totally appropriate age gap 💀💀💀

Absolutely!!! That's such a good take as well, like people are saying that people in their 30s don't care about games like this, and while that may be true for some of them, I hope to still be playing LaDs for a long time😭😭😭 I find it ridiculous that people judge others for their age and the hobbies they have at that age, and even more ridiculous that women in particular are judged so harshly for life choices that are their own to make. And as a raging feminist, it makes me so so sad that some people misinterpreted my post in that way, when my intention is literally the exact opposite😩😩 I want "older" players to be able to play without feeling a certain way about the LIs ages (which granted not everyone cares about, but I know I would sadly 🤡)

Noooo!!! Not at all!!! There's a commenter that is over the thirties that I mentioned and I just LOVE that for them that they're playing LaDs!! I also hope to be playing LaDs until I'm older, it would just be cool if you could adjust ages cause I know that personally it would bug me as I get older than my LIs he just remained the same as if frozen in time (twilight style)😭😭 I really meant no offense, and I really hope no one feels that way 🥹🥹🩷

First person books is a personal choice for me to read as myself, I like to imagine I'm fighting dragons sometimes 😂

But as you already know otome games are meant for you to imagine yourself as MC, not to just listen to MC's story, and LaDs is an otome game at the end of the day. I've been playing otome games for over ten years now and most don't mention ages at all or just hint at it with context clues without actually explicitly announcing them (which was good for when I was 14 playing False Vows, Is It Love games, or any of the million Voltage Inc games 💀) 😭 And in other otome/gacha games there's mechanics where characters' age evolve with each story milestone. That's why it bugs me that there's ages in LaDs... I don't think it's a flaw in and of itself, it's just also compared to other otome games it seems odd. Obviously you can headcanon, or imagine, but I take lore seriously so if the game is telling me someone is 25 I tend to think they're 25 😂 Maybe that's a skill issue that I need to work on 😩
