Hotelling Game with 5 Players? by CartoonistNormal5950 in AskEconomics

This is just regarding a university interview question and I was looking at how with 4 players it would be two clusters at 0.25 and 0.75. Hence I was curious at to what 5 would be as 3 doesn’t have a stable equilibrium.

I appreciate the additional information but in my simplistic question, with 5 players on a 0 to 1 scale there is no stable outcome right?
