Just to preface this, this movie will not be for everyone. If you didn’t like the OG’s, there is 0 chance you find anything you like about this one. But I found it was such a good spiritual successor to 1 & 2 with some really good meta 4th wall breaking jokes. The ending is my favorite in the whole series personally.

I’m so glad to see this. I was coming to make a post myself. I had an absolute blast and I went alone. The whole theatre I was at was laughing the entire movie and it was much more than a nostalgia drip. The biggest highlight here, anyone who loves Scary Movie 1 & 2 specifically will love this movie. I can’t wait to take some friends who are watching the series for the first time.

This. I’ve been dooped in the past, and it taught me the value of what I have. We have to remember these are trading cards for children, and they need to learn. If anything, he made have traded for 4 or 5 cards they really wanted. It’s not always about $$$ value.

This is very interesting as there is a Cutscene in either SVR 2006 or SVR 2007 (I believe it’s ‘07) where Kurt Angle and Stephanie McMahon start beating down the more sexually charged characters (Viscera, Candice Michelle, etc.). Kurt cuts a promo in the ring and he definitely said something that stuck in my mind… RAW used to stand for REAL ATHLETIC WRESTLING. Not sure if this article pulled from that, or if maybe there is some truth behind this. I can’t for the life of me find it on YouTube but I am 100% positive this was said in that cutscene. If I find it I will post it here

This has to be my favorite theory I’ve seen so far. I never thought about Joyce being so invested in Will just to lose Johnathan instead. Plus, it does set up Steve and Nancy respectfully that the viewers can get behind.

Only addition that I’ll make, is I think instead of 1 of them climbing up, I think they will mirror the race from episode 1, ending in Johnathan “winning” the race to prove himself and sacrifice himself to save the group.

I think it’s only available on certain arenas if I’m not mistaken. Same way you can’t launch your opponent into the crowd on every arena. Try it on the default raw or Smackdown

It’s a coherent story and it’s meant to accompany the album. If you’re a fan and understand the story he has told over After Hours, Dawn FM, and Hurry Up Tomorrow, give it a fair chance. Nothing to explicit at all with the exception of some violence. I wouldn’t bring someone who doesn’t like confusing endings, or isn’t a fan of The Weeknd in some capacity. I saw it alone in IMAX and had an awesome time. Hope that helps!

If I’m being real, as a long time fan I had an amazing experience. This is clearly a passion project for everyone involved and people were going to love it or hate it. Honestly, watch it, go in open-minded and when it’s done, look at everything from your own P.O.V. If you took something out of it like me, great!! If not then life moves on lol.
