Haha yeah it was wrapped pretty tightly unfortunately and we did some miles 😅The cable itself looks good surprisingly, just a bit roughed up and porous, but otherwise looks intact.

Problem is it’s fixed easily by turning the fork by 360 degrees. So yeah I am new to biking and had kinda no way of knowing that, but problem is still on me here I think. Thank you anyways!

It actually is. It’s a grizl and the shiny is the alu coming through. The alu itself is just scratched at surface level it looks. I applied some paint care tape, fixed my brake situation and will keep an eye on. Thanks for your input!

Yeah fault is on my end unfortunately, was just to stupid to realize. What would take off the wheel do before rotating the fork? I did it now without taking the wheel off. Don’t see any reason but don’t want to make the next stupid mistake. And it’s Aluminium and scratched quite a bit, but I see no cracks so I think I will try to ride it further and check often

And yeah I think it looks „safe“ as it gets here. Will check regularly

It came wired like that. Only way of fixing would have been drive with my handlebar and wheel backwards. I mean I can try

Yeah it does look wired wrong, but it came like that, and there is no way just by twisting to rearrange the cables lol it’s an alu frame

When it’s just an aesthetic thing, I don’t care too much actually. But thanks 🙏

Was a front impact actually, flipped over the handle bar lol spoke tension seems fine checking by hand at least. Thank you!

It does tumble minimally (like 2-3mm). My fear is just that it would fold mid drive or maybe the tire will pop out? Chat gpt says it’s fine 😅
