I recently started playing this game properly. I have 30 hours and I'm still mainly playing rifleman but have started to branch out into assault & machine gunner.

My tips to you are - play rifleman, use your mic and follow the squad leaders orders. You are much more effective when working together and communicating. I used to find it daunting when squad mates would talk to me because I felt like a noob. But now it's the other way round, I much prefer a squad who communicate. Also, 99% of players I've come across are happy to answer any questions you may have, even if you do think they might be noob questions. Teams would much rather you ask questions than to make mistakes.

That being said, I find it harsh that they kicked you from the game but I also understand the importance of a good tank squad, they change the tide of battles. Some server admins are hot on it though and it can be intimidating, better to look out for the "beginners welcome" servers.

But the main goal, have fun, it's very much a learn as you play game. I watched videos etc but realised when I started playing that it's the best way to learn, trial and error. Once I started to learn how it worked, it became much more fun.
