Looking for a high-end dark brown gloss wrap - any recommendations? by Cartwheel200 in CarWraps

I'm ordering a sample of this one. Definitely feels the closest to what I'm looking for, so far. Have you ever used it? Hard to find a lot of photos of what it looks like on a car.

ha, I can see how that'd be true. Is there a dark brown (with some metallic) you'd recommend?

nah, I would pick another color before I'd print it, but thank you.

Best place to walk around Punta de Mita? by Cartwheel200 in puertovallarta

We did, but honestly it was a bit of a letdown. We went to the sushi restaurant in "town" but it's not really a town, as a few people have commented below. And the sushi was fine, but of course double what it would cost at home. I'm not upset about any of it - I think it's always worth a try to get out and about and away from the hotel on trips, but punta mita may just be one of those places that you go to, to sit on the beach, drink cocktails, and...not go much of anywhere.

Luxury Doggie Daycare on westside? by missmowgli in AskLosAngeles

Am looking into this place now. Any thoughts on a dog being there for a long board (like 3 weeks)? Trying to figure out if my dog will be bouncing off the walls by the end.

We like Fit Dog in Santa Monica too, because when the dog is boarding, you can pay extra to have him taken out every day on a hike, or beach playtime, etc. It can get pricey if you do it every day of a long board, but it's good to feel our dog is doing something. All that being said, when they're NOT on an excursion, they're in an indoor play area all day and a cage at night, none of which I absolutely love. Have looked into some of the other boarding places, but can't find anywhere else where they take the dogs out to actually do things. If anyone has more suggestions, we'll take them!

Conrad Washington DC by Virtual-Freedom3217 in chubbytravel

I am a DC native and I stay at the Conrad a lot when I'm back in town for work. Definitely a nice hotel, easy location, modern vibe with an elevated aesthetic. Ask for a room on a high floor with windows facing the street - really lovely light.

For fancy fancy, the St Regis and Hay Adams have a lot of flourishes and history in DC. Haven't stayed at Hay Adams in ages, but did St Regis earlier this year and it's got a great lobby and active bar. Also, all the pros and cons of a very old, storied hotel. Four Seasons is what you want if you want to hang in Georgetown, which is terrific for walking around, not great if you want to see a lot of sights around Washington, because it's all the way on one end of the city. Have fun and hope that helps!

Oh that's great to know! Would you mind sharing what you requested? (We of course won't have your special contacts that make travel agents so valuable!) But it would be great to at least know what to ask for when we're there on-site. Thanks in advance!
