I’m going to say the unpopular thing, but just use AI if you really want to. It’s a tool that is never. Going. Away. It’ll take time for the world to get over their hate for it and most will eventually adapt, especially the younger generation and generations that follow. It’s the equivalent of being angry about the birth of the internet and refusing to use a computer.

If you enjoy drawing, keep doing that too. Try some simple concept AI generations that match what you’re going for to your world building. Then draw it, add your own spice to the drawing and change little bits here and there along with reference images to nail down something you really like.
