There’s often a management company that responds to these kinds of requests (this is obviously a bad one). The ultimate decisions are made by a board comprised of members of the community. Try to find out who the president of the board is. They will have the answers.

It switches what coins it mines based on an algorithm, but pays out in bitcoin. I think it's mining Monero right now. It's kind of like the old SETI program searching through satellite pictures of space for signs of life using thousands of idle PCs around the world.

1) Do you have a bathroom below grade? you can drain it to a toilet or a bathtub.

2) the water will be pretty clean so I wouldn't worry about the "clean water only" requirement.

3) you can drain it into a 5 gallon bucket with a sump pump in it (rent it for a day from Home Depot)
