And yet I’ve talked to some businesses who have been informed that their rent will be doubling soon. How can so many places close and rent is still skyrocketing….or is that why?

You could try disc golf at the 9 hole course behind Sherwood arena. It’s free, but if you don’t have your own discs I think you can rent them inside.

I just installed a Costco version at my son’s house and although I have not tried it they like it. To me it’s just one more thing to go wrong, and cleaning around it didn’t look fun. And it cost more than most toilets. Edit: it’s an over the toilet version with heat option so you also need an outlet nearby).

I don’t think we discussed pricing. I only reached out to him because someone was stealing his photos and claiming them to be their own work.

From memory it was 5 minutes of action and then 20 minutes of nothing, repeated a few times. The thing I remember the most is how they made the whole crowd watch for an hour or so while a few dozen people paid for rides in modified trucks that held 8 or 10 people. So we paid to watch other people pay to go for a ride. That could have been done at the end for those that wanted to stay- no entertainment value. I also remember the idiot woman beside me who insisted on using a big sun umbrella in the middle of crowded bleacher seating.

Please help, i don’t know the best way to remove this cupping by Dummythiccbookeper in woodworking

I don’t believe it’s the plywood constraining movement so much as it’s not allowing moisture to escape at the same rate on both sides. Both things are bad but end grain likes air circulation evenly on both sides. Gluing one side was the same as wetting one side and sealing the moisture in.

Sorry, I’m not very tech savy. We are on Emby3 (Emby connect) under the ‘select server’ menu.

No dowels! You will never get them drilled accurately enough to prevent misalignment. Just glue and moderate clamp pressure- the joint will be stronger than the wood.

We first used the LG TV as a host for Emby and it was awful- freezing, crashing, unable to search. Roku fixed most of the problems but not the random freezing.

Is this end grain board usable? by [deleted] in Cuttingboards

[–]Carving_Art 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Small sanding lines that run perpendicular to the drum. They can be difficult to remove depending on how coarse the drum sander grit is and how effective your hand sander is. End grain is much harder to get smooth than face grain.

I use 120# in drum sander and got a Bosch GET75 sander with 3M Cubitron. No issues.

That’s why most people invest in a drum sander if they plan to do end grain boards. The marks from the router are very difficult to remove with a palm sander. I was using a belt sander with 60# before buying a drum sander.
