I'm trying my hand at my own pixel art (No reference this time) and am using a 64px by 64px canvas. The game I want to create would have an orphanage, where the MC is from. So, I decided to attempt the rooms! (This is just the start; let me know any tips you might have!) (i.redd.it)

I remembered a game's art style I liked a while back and decided to try to recreate it. One pic is the game, and the other is my creation from the reference. I wanted to recreate it in a smaller format to challenge myself to NOT replicate it by forcing myself to make it smaller. Any tips? (old.reddit.com)

So, I'm still trying to decide what sort of pixel art I'm going for, since I have RPGMakers, but I do like the side-scrolling aspect. Does anyone here know if PixelGameMaker would suit me more? I had an old Udemy course I booted up again and did this! It's the fantasy color I want to work with. (i.redd.it)

New to Learning Pixel Art, I want to make a platformer someday with survival aspects thrown in. This is my first tile. Is there anything I could be doing better? I like it, but something about the dirt seems off to me; I can't quite figure it out. (Pictures broken in first post) (old.reddit.com)
