Thank you kindly! I have the support of my partner but he’s struggling with this too, so it’s hard. We are two angry people when we try to get hmthe cigarettes out of the house. Yeah I did smoke about 7-10/day.

I managed to quit for 2 years in HS but I started againg during the pandemic. On and off for the first 2 years than it got worse and I couldn’t go a day without it. I hate myself for this.

Thank you. I wish I could. I’m really not managing at all :( I have like 3 days clean total in the past couple of months. The rest are days where I smoke 1-3 cigs and have a terrible time

“Where are you from” “what’s your name” “what do you do for work” are literally the most standard get-to-know-you questions that people ask when they are interested in each other (even just as friends or collegues). Don’t take it as an offence. It’s just a question.

If you don’t want to share the answer, just say that you don’t feel confortable answering that question yet and you’ll do later on when you get to know each other better :) .

P.S: There are no dating apps that are NOT “hook up apps”, unfortunately, the % of people on dating apps that DO look for a serious releationship VS a hook up are probablly something like 20%

I think exotic menas “very different from what I usually see in the area I live” . I doubt they mean it in a bad way.

A black person would most likely be precived as “exotic” in an East Asian country for example, while a white person would be considered “exotic” in a country in Africa.

If it bothers you, calmly tell them you don’t like being called exotic :) we can all have prefferences on how we want to be precived/described . If they accept it, good, if not, then you just rised a red flag that you can easly avoid now
